Honestly would prefer an apple watch better, hate that it has to adjust to workout a couple minutes later than automaticly

Really sad watch. It looks nice, easy to set up but for some reason they don't believe you need to see your number of steps - which is the whole point. You have to go to a second screen. Whose idea was that? It gives you a lot of tracking measures including sleep - which I have no interest in. It tracks your heart rate and the weather. They also only give you a charging cord not the part that goes into the wall.

You can change the display screen to view steps. As well, the watch can be charged using a computer, phone wall brick or any other USB port. Well, I missed the return window, or this item would have been returned. I previously had a Venu Sq that was three years old. It stopped keeping an accurate record for activities. I thought it might be time to upgrade. Boy, I made a huge mistake. This watch is very buggy. The battery life is about 4 days. The heart rate is accurate...until it isn't, requiring a reboot. The sleep tracking is a joke. Save your money - don't buy this version. Let's hope Garmin fixes it for future releases.

Sooooo disappointed!! This Garmin doesn't track your elevation! Such a basic function. And what's worse, Best Buy is advertising that it does.

To record elevation with activities, you'll need to make sure that you're selecting an outdoor activity. If you're selecting the indoor version of an activity--as I've done by accident a number of times--your watch will turn off GPS, and your activity will be missing elevation and other GPS data. Hard to rate because their shipper never delivered the product and will not refund or replace the item. Purchase somewhere with better customer service and reliable shippers such as Amazon.

I bit the bullet to upgrade my faltering vivoactive 3 (it gave me 4 great years!) to the 5 and man, I'm sure glad I did. Everything is so much better. More stats, more ways to customize absolutely everything from screen photos, coaching programs, just all of it. It has the same durability with all the best perks of Garmin. I wear it in the shower, for swimming, all activities, only taking it off once per week to charge. Speaking of that, it holds a charge awesomely! Also, the connectivity cannot be beat. My old one would have to be manually synced once in a while, but this one is highly sensitive to my phone's location, seamlessly going from connected to disconnected and back as I move around the house. I'm so glad I made this purchase and recommend it very highly. Get one; you won't be disappointed!

This watch is not my favorite of the Garmin brand but i like the smaller watch face along with the battery life. I also like the watch faces that you can get. It spices up the watch but it does burn the battery. I also do not care for the watch band. I wish they made a leather band for this watch. I chose this watch because of the name. Garmin is a great brand that I believe puts a great deal of effort into their product.
