Bought this microwave for my nephew’s dorm room. It’s the perfect size for the amount of space that he has. Also I like GE products.

Nice little microwave. Seems well built and will work well where we need to place it. We bought it for a vacation home where space is limited and this one fit the bill

Perfect size for our use~ works great for the compact size.

It’s a 700 W microwave however it uses 1000 W I bought it for my Cargo trailer trying to use low wattage for bluetti but other than that, it works great

Since our previous microwave stopped working.they suggested several places to Buy a new one including Best Buy after seeing several comments and ratings of the appliances it was decided to buy it at Best buy. Well we were looking for something economical and of very good quality to enjoy instant food and other variety such as eating water for a delicious coffee or hot tea and some delicious popcorn in theses cold time that are coming

Nice little microwave. Does everything we need it to do.

Due to the space I have to replace a microwave, my choices were limited. Fortunately, this smaller model was able to fit with some minor adjustments. Although it's dimensions are smaller, it operates as efficient as my former appliance and is easy to keep clean.

Great compact microwave, decided to buy it after owning the GE coffee maker and blender.

Convenient size for small spaces however, this is a very low powered microwave. Even on the high power setting (10) it takes double time to heat things up according to the packaging instructions. Good price but I wish I spent a little more on a better one because I'm always in a rush and I don't like having to start it up again.

Although it is nothing fancy, it takes up little room on my counter and it meets my needs. The only down side is that because wattage is less than my previous microwave, sometimes it takes a bit long to completely cook something.

I bought this microwave because of the size requirements for my pantry. I had a 1000 watt microwave so this is an adjustment as it's only 700 watts. It takes longer to cook or reheat items and It has all the features of my bigger microwave, just smaller.

I was looking for a small, compact microwave and I like General Electric products. This was a good choice. It works well and has convenient features. Just what I hoped to find.

Has compact outside dimensions though it can handle a 10" plate on it's convenient rotating turntable. With 700 watts of power it takes about 1 minute longer (4 min) to heat a mug of water to a comparable level of it's larger 900 watt companion model. Not for large (high) items like a whole chicken or roast. Easy to use key pad, crisp door lever that pivots in easily when pressed. Perfect for reheating of leftovers and beverages but needs more time to cook those frozen meals adequately. Recommend using felt tabs on all four bottom contact points since the rear two are just rounded metal bumpers. Purchased this to replace the GE JES1097SMSS 900 watt .9 Cu. Ft. model (it's bigger brother) that failed after 6 months with a door latch interlock problem. Which required excessive slamming to get the interlock to function properly (light stayed on, turntable would shudder, and no power for key pad or heating function) otherwise a nice machine too when working.

It doesn't use too much space on your counter, helps you save space and it works as intended. Easy to use

Great but too small for our plates - needed a 1.0 at least. Ths would however be great for college student or someone with a studio / small kitchen.

Excellent tool for reduced kitchen spaces and to handle light duties like warming up small food portions or beverages or any other small cooking proyect. Great look and price!!!

nice little m/wave. works well so far. Bot it about 1 monthe ago. heats food evenly. It is quiet and efficient.

I bought this for its small "footprint" on my countertop & for its brand name. It has more presets than I've used in the 2 months I've had it, but I'm glad to know they're there. Can't do my half-size popcorn on its popcorn setting, but have adapted of course. Here's a caution: the control keypad is a plastic film overlay that PUNCTURES with a fingernail edge! The manual warns against sharp objects; I didn't notice that soon enough. I would buy this again, however. Also, though lower wattage than larger units, it cooks very quickly - perhaps it's more efficient than my previous larger one?

This is a wonderful compact size. It fits great on a counter. It is a very modern looking microwave and every pan or plate seems to fit in it. I really enjoy using it because it is so easy to use. You are able to hit one button to program it to cook for a quick reheat.
