Posted .We'd like to help out with your microwave not heating as expected, the odors, and the condensation. We recommend trying out an electronic reset, to help with the heating issues. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. An electrical odor in new microwaves can be normal because the electronic board is "curing" as the circuit board material is heated for first few uses. For the condensation, we recommend making sure food that needs to be covered while cooking is covered properly and make sure that there are no items blocking the airflow around the microwave case. For additional troubleshooting, we recommend checking out our support article titled "Microwave - Moisture or Condensation" located on our GE Appliances website in the support section.

It works to heat and cook but not built very well.

I have to keep repositioning microwave every other use. Pushing buttons pushes machine back. Also bar to open not very substantial. It does heat and cook very well.
