The wording is not printed in a bold font on the control panel and is hard to read. The 30 second key is located in an odd spot on the control panel.

I am 72 and not tech savvy. Even though there are numerous functions it is extremely easy to use! So far I absolutely love it! Great value!

Only downfall is the dark letters on the black keypad but not bad enough for me to not want to use it.

One of the best reasons is that it doesn't get really hot on the outside. Just a bit hot on the left side, and just warm on the top and right side. I haven't really checked the back. However I have not used the Air Fry function, so I don't know how hot it gets on the outside in that mode. But the recommended distance from the wall is not too bad. It fits a 12" pizza pan, which is really nice. I like using the convection oven instead of our big oven. I'm really glad we bought this!
