Poor Quality and Limited Warranty-Not Recommended

This product is low quality, even though it's from a well-known brand. The brand only offers a one-year warranty and has no replacement parts, so it’s basically disposable. Mine lasted just 1 year and 3 months before the screen started showing incomplete codes and numbers. I only used it to heat food and not often. I don’t recommend it.

It gets hot even just making popcorn. Also, it does not allow you to add your own minutes, it came fixed at 1 minute minimum. It's cumbersome to use, the menu.

    Best of Both Worlds

Our washer died and since we got such a good deal on the replacement from Best Buy as well as 18 months no interest, we decided to relace our aging microwave and wanted to also free up storage space in the kitchen by eliminating the bulky air fryer we got as a hand-me-down. This model takes up the same amount of space as our old microwave, is way quieter, and performs perfectly. There are some quirks to operation that you will only discover by reading the manual and using it as instructed, so I would strongly recommend not tossing the book in the trash. The air fryer function is very easy to use and I appreciate the “HOT!” warning the screen gives me when turning something being air fried. Make sure you are only using the high-rise platform when it is necessary. Most stuff you can air fry using the shorter one. I saw other reviews for this model when I was comparing and almost all of them that complained about it burning were putting their food up too high and too close to the heating element.

It is great BUT the display went out the first time I used it. I tried to exchange it and got ran around by everyone I talked with. I have to push on the display to get anything to come up. Other than that customer service sucks the big one, it truly is a great thing. I run it in my camper off of a converter and 12 volt system. No stink like some air fryers. Convection and micro work awsome

Sure! Here's a review of the GE 1.0 Cu. Ft. Convection Countertop Microwave with Air Fry in Black Stainless Steel: I recently purchased the GE 1.0 Cu. Ft. Convection Countertop Microwave with Air Fry in Black Stainless Steel, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. This microwave not only functions as a regular microwave but also offers the added convenience of convection cooking and air frying. The black stainless steel design gives it a sleek and modern look that complements my kitchen perfectly. It's a compact size, making it ideal for countertop use without taking up too much space. The convection feature is a game-changer. It allows me to bake, roast, and brown foods quickly and efficiently. I no longer need to use my oven for small to medium-sized dishes, saving me time and energy. The results are consistently delicious, with evenly cooked and crispy food. The air fry function is another standout feature. It ensures that my favorite fried foods are crispy and golden on the outside while remaining moist and flavorful on the inside. It offers a healthier alternative to traditional deep frying, using little to no oil. The control panel is user-friendly, with intuitive buttons and a clear digital display. It offers various cooking presets, including options for popcorn, potatoes, vegetables, and more. The microwave also comes with a sensor cooking feature, which automatically adjusts the cooking time and power level based on the food's moisture content. One minor drawback is that the microwave can be a bit noisy when in use, especially during the convection cooking mode. However, this is a small inconvenience considering the overall performance and versatility of the appliance. In conclusion, the GE 1.0 Cu. Ft. Convection Countertop Microwave with Air Fry in Black Stainless Steel is a fantastic addition to any kitchen. It combines the functionality of a microwave, convection oven, and air fryer, providing endless cooking possibilities. Its sleek design, efficient cooking performance, and healthy cooking options make it a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this microwave in August and I LOVE IT! It’s so quiet! I love the built in child controls that keep the door locked. The air fryer works just like any other air fryer. This is a great and powerful microwave combo!

Still working great after a year!

A year later, and mine is still working great! Just read the instructions because it's sort of a learning curve when using an all-in-one microwave such as this model. The lack of lighting for the buttons doesn't bother me; I can see them fine during the evenings. Also, the loud beeping warning you that it's hot isn't that bad. Hit 'cancel' and the beeping stops. I thinks its a nice reminder that the food is hot when removing.

I had to replace my old microwave (it was 37 years old) and looked on online and found this on the Best Buy site. The product is very easy to use and the price was amazing. My elderly father with Dementia was able to figure out the features and use it right away too. Great value, with a lot of great features. Was really excited that it works as a microwave, convection oven and air fryer.

The panel is dark and difficult to see in low lighting. I have to turn on a light to push the right button. The microwave oven works great. It’s easy to clean with a stainless steel interior. The price was affordable and it has several functions. It can has convection abilities, microwave, and air fry. I tried to air fry fries. Not so tasty result. I’ll try again with yam fries.

Not Bad but Not Great Either

I wanted to try a combo device to replace my old microwave & air fryer. Went with this GE because it was a brand I recognized & was on sale for a decent price. It was 0.1 cubic feet larger & had an extra 150 watts of power than what I am used to. The instructions are very sparse so took some trial & error to figure out but it was not hard. As a microwave, this works just like you would expect. Food heats up quickly & the tray rotates. Sometimes it does act weird in that no matter what button I press, it beeps & says "food". The only way to get rid of this and get it to work is to open & close the door. As an air fryer, it is OK but I am still confused by the convection oven setting. They both look like they do the same thing: heating element on top & fan in the back. The fan keeps blowing even after use which I am not really is necessary. The convection oven setting does not seem to work right as it keeps beeping and .... stopping? Not sure what it is doing so I just use the air fryer option instead since it looks like it does the same thing without any weird stuff going on. All of the weight is on the side with the buttons which makes it uneven to move/lift (the left side swings around very easily while the right requires a lot more effort). Overall I like it, do wish the buttons lit up but otherwise I would recommend this. There is another version with a different model number but same description & price so not sure what the difference is or which is better.

So far, so good. Microwave functions as expected. Air fryer is a plus. Also very quiet. Had to download the manual. Not as helpful as I had hoped. Agree with others that keypad is hard to read in low light. Still haven't made much use of the convection or broiler functions.

Fantastic convection microwave. Easy to use (if you download the whole manual). It is also extremely quiet for a microwave. I was skeptical that a microwave could successfully do so many things, but this has far exceeded my expectations. The air fryer cooks fantastically and provides a nice even browning and crunch on foods.

A great buy! This microwave does everything and does it well. Air cooker built in as well. It's fast, well built, and I love it! Yes, the numbers are a bit hard to see with the naked eye. But it was an easy fix. I put in on my counter that is illuminated from under the top cabinets. Voila! Problem solved! A great price( I bought in on Christmas Day). My present to myself. Luckily, my friend had bought it on Black Friday the month before. I got to see it working in all its glory. I highly recommend it! You can't go wrong. It looks great too. Looks aren't everything, but this baby looks expensive. What I paid was highway robbery! I told all my friends about it. You better hurry. Word of mouth works great on a bargain like this. If you don't catch the sale, it's still selling regularly at a very good price! Five stars from me. I wish I could buy two, and put one away for the future. Sorry for fussing but there's lots of people like me living on one check a month. It teaches you to appreciate something that works great and a great price.

We have it used it regularly for a month now and so far it is working great. The air fryer setting is not as efficient as a small dedicated unit but is comparable to one the same size. One negative, the door pen button feels flimsy and I have seen that the mechanism uses a plastic part on the inside that is prone to break if used roughly. This seems to happen because it can be difficult to get used to the safety feature that requires you to push the cancel button before opening the door. This can lead to repeatedly jamming on the door open button in frustration because it didn't open., wearing it down.
