The buttons aren't near as easy to work or read as my last cheap microwave. For some reason it doesn't seem to sit level on the same stand as my last one that did.
I haven't tried the oven or the air fry yet. The price is what makes me recommend it the not so good features I can live with

The overall item is quality. I used the Air fryer menu pad. The chicken legs came out nicely. Since I’m old school and like the traditional way of cooking, I must say it did the job. However, this is just a back. I still prefer my stove top and oven.

What a disappointment! I was excited to find a combination microwave/air fryer/oven, but when it comes without directions, and you can’t find them online, it’s a GREAT HANDICAP! I try preheating the oven but then when I open the door and put my item in to cook a few minutes later it just turns the oven off. And since there are no directions, I can’t figure out how to turn the oven back on, so I’m stuck just using the microwave. That makes this a very expensive microwave oven. Unfortunately I didn’t realize all this until it was too late to return it and I am stuck with this and can’t afford to replace it with anything else so I’m just left with an attractive, but very expensive, yet very useless air fryer and oven that I’m stuck with and can’t replace. I wish I had great things to say about it but the lack of directions on how to use. It really have left me with not much good to say. Oh, they do come with some nice racks though.
We know how important instructions can be when you’re adjusting to a new appliance, and we’d like to assist. The Use and Care manual for your appliance is available on our GE Appliances website; you can view that when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. Troubleshooting tips are available on page 21 of the manual. If you’re concerned the microwave isn’t working correctly, you may want to try disconnecting it from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting; this resets the components and can often resolve an issue. If you think you may need to take advantage of your warranty, information on that is available on page 23 of the manual. If after reviewing the manual you’re still unsure about how to operate the microwave, you’re more than welcome to send us a private message over our GE Appliances social media (such as Facebook or Instagram) with a copy of this review and your model number. We’re always happy to offer assistance. -Sarah@GEAppliances

I was happy to get a microwave and air fryer in one to save counterspace. But the first time I went to use it I realize that the control panel letters and numbers are gray and almost impossible to see without a bright light on it. I can’t understand why they thought it was a great idea to put buttons on a microwave that you can’t see. I Really wish that I had looked at it more closely before purchasing. I definitely would have bought something else.

So far so good. The appeal was the air fry feature which I really wanted but didn't want to lose any counter space. I blew up a plastic bottle of crystalized honey in my previous microwave, so what better excuse to buy a new unit with this feature. It's also very reasonably priced. First off, this thing is dead silent. The quietest microwave I've ever operated by far. Like another user commented it would be great if the buttons were illuminated, but that's a feature you're hard pressed to find at this price point. Secondly, this unit is pretty darn compact. The dimensions were practically identical to the unit I was replacing (a Panasonic). The finish is even identical. This thing is also very powerful at 1050 watts. My previous unit was 1100 or 1200 watts, but those 50-150 watts you're likely not going to miss. Speaking of power, you may want to note that the plug is a down angle cord. I had to buy a swivel extension plug from Amazon, because this plug was sharing the same receptacle as my refrigerator, which is also a down angle plug/cable. Thirdly, and this is actually a negative that another buyer commented on: full manual has to be downloaded off GE's website. You're going to need it with how many features this unit has besides Air Fry. For instance, the included quick manual says you need to use the tall rack for Air Frying, but there's a short rack with silicone feet also included and no mention of what it should be used for. Turns out you're supposed to use if for Combo Cooking. I found that using the tall rack actually burns food during Air Fry because it's so close to the heating element above, so I'm not sure why GE is telling you to only use it for Air Frying. I found that the short rack with orange silicone feet works much better. All in all I'm quite happy with this purchase and am excited to try other features and different foods.

We've only had this microwave 6 weeks but neither my husband or myself is able to read the panel. We initially thought there was a malfunctioning light behind the panel but no such luck. It is amazing that GE has not corrected it. I wish I'd read the reviews more carefully before purchasing. In 2016 people were complaining about not being able to read the panel. Here we are 7 years later and the problem has not been fixed. The panel is also a black, shiny material so when we use a flashlight to better see the letters and numbers, it does not work either because the light reflects in the panel.

I purchased this microwave recently. It was listed as an OPEN BOX EXCELLENT CONDITION. It arrived yesterday with the microwave rattling around loose inside the box. The box was in terrible condition as shown in the photos. I didn't bother opening the box because it obviously wasn't in EXCELLENT condition. I'm very disappointed with Best Buy.
I did call customer service and the only "help" they could offer was to send me another Open Box microwave and waive additional shipping costs to get it to me by Christmas...lol.
Now I have to wait for UPS to contact me to schedule a pickup. I won't get my money back for 2-3 weeks. Beware of Open Box items from Best Buy.

This product is low quality, even though it's from a well-known brand. The brand only offers a one-year warranty and has no replacement parts, so it’s basically disposable. Mine lasted just 1 year and 3 months before the screen started showing incomplete codes and numbers. I only used it to heat food and not often. I don’t recommend it.
We regret to hear this and encourage you to reach out to us (GE Appliances) via private message on Facebook, X, or Instagram so that we may learn more about your situation. Make sure to include your full model and serial numbers along with a copy of this review.

Do not buy unless you want to be cooking with fire literally. Come to find out there is an issue with the motor combusting into flames.
