The microwave is light so opening its door, you have to hold the oven with one hand and push the door lever forward.

It was under warranty, but the claim process required buying another of the same model and sending GE the receipt which felt unnecessary and the process seemed long and not very easy. Instead, I just bought a different microwave. On top of that, it didn’t heat food very well.

Bigger family bigger microwave

Heats very well under a small amount of time, so be sure to keep an eye on your food. There is a locking system that takes a bit of getting used to as the door has to be unlocked by pressing the Cancel button to prevent children from opening up the door too quickly and burning themselves with the food. It's useful, but not a perfect system as door button can be hard to press.

That part I do not like especially if it you are not in a lit place to see, otherwise it heats up real nice and is good and spacious!!

Posted .To disable the Child Lock feature: press and hold the “7” key for 3-5 seconds or until you hear a beep and release. Press the “9” key and release. Press the “0” key and release. There will be two short beeps and the display will flash "UnLo" to confirm you successfully disabled this feature. For more information, review the online Owner's Manual by clicking on the Features tab and scroll all the way to the bottom of the list.
