Very quiet. After each run time whether 30 seconds or minutes you must hit the end button to disengage the door lock. Not a fan of this step but I'm use to it now. Does the job well for time to temperature

It's very easy to use and works very well. Alert bells are not too loud.

In regard to the child lock, they give you instructions on how to disable it. The microwave works fine, as far as we can tell. We just bought it today, but we may return it because you can't read the buttons unless you have a brighter light on them. Why would they not put bright white lettering on it (like the photo shows)?

This replaced the same, but now inoperable model. Definitely quieter than the previous one with a few upgrades to it. Does the job very well. - no complaints at all.

This is a great, simple microwave. Wonderful if you have small children because it locks and you have to unlock to open the door. Especially if your microwave is at a lower placement.

Microwave works as expected. Perfect size for what we needed. We required a lower wattage oven and it fit the bill. So far it has been a good replacement for our 25+ year old microwave that died. Well packaged and delivered on time.

Works great. I did not like the standard controls come with a child lock already on but understand why it’s there. Great for a an apartment. I bought this for my one bedroom apartment and have no issues with it.

GE Microwave Review – Best Buy Purchase I recently purchased a GE Microwave from Best Buy, and the experience has been great so far. So far this microwaved has worked great. I thought that the casing would be black with the front stainless steel trim but it is all stainless steel. It came with a protective coating on all the stainless steel which was blue. At first I thought they had sent me a blue microwave. After I removed the protective coating and used the unit I noticed that it is very quiet. It cooks faster than the microwave it replaced which I like but have to adjust to.

It works fine. Easy to use and has a light inside when you open the door and while running. It's pretty slow to heat things up overall. I always have to add 30 sec to everything I heat up compared to my old one. The one thing the really bugs me is that its so slow that it either burns popcorn or leave a lot of un-popped kernels. Going to return it.

The mircowave is good for its price , it could be alot hotter but hey for $100 and some change you cant complain. Perfect for childern or dorms

I got the GE 1.1 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave in stainless steel and honestly it’s been great so far. It’s simple, heats things evenly, and looks nice sitting on the counter. I really like that it’s quiet when running and super easy to use with the one touch buttons and defrost settings. It’s got a good amount of space inside without being too big and it definitely does the job for everyday stuff like reheating and cooking quick meals. The stainless steel finish gives it a clean look and it feels solid overall. The only minor downsides I’ve noticed are that the popcorn button doesn’t seem to have the right timing since it either leaves a bunch of kernels or goes a little too long, and the child lock isn’t the most secure. The child lock can also be annoying at times and I wish there was a way to turn it off completely. The door feels like it might wear out over time but so far no real issues. For the price around $100 I think it’s a solid buy, nothing fancy but dependable and just what I needed.
