I purchased this GE microwave oven to replace my old GE microwave oven that I had for 23 years. This microwave has a turntable , with a glass removable dish..easy to remove to clean after spills. I love the timer option and the single 1 min - 5 min one touch activation. The weight of this microwave oven is much lighter, even the door feels much lighter than my original microwave oven. I like the GE style and brand and must say that I feel that it is the better choice in Microwave Ovens. The manual that comes with this unit is not a complete manual, I keep discovering new features on my own. The lack of a detailed manual is why I gave only 4 stars..The reheat feature seems to overheat the food a bit if left to rely on just the internal sensor, not sure if this is caused because I use a microwave lid when reheating foods..need to continue to experiment. I like the beverage button, as it heats my cold coffee to a nice temperature. I have used the defrost feature to defrost meats, this feature has been greatly improved. Overall, this is a great Microwave oven, I recommend it.

This microwave is quiet and works well, with accurate temperature performance. The control pad is very intuitive. I like the "add 30 sec" feature which allows instant cooking on high in 30 sec intervals w/o having to punch in time/power level. The door is so flimsy that if you close it pushing it at the top, it bends and does not actually close! The bottom latches don't make contact when the door bends. Likewise, the open button, while large and easy, also feels flimsy, and makes one wonder if it will actually last through years of service. Because of that, I went for an extended warranty, which still made the overal cost reasonable, factoring in the sale price of the microwave.

I had a hard time finding an all white microwave in the size and price that I wanted. The one I found is fine. It does the job it was intended to do. Nothing fancy. Wish door opened wider and was flush when it closed. Otherwise, satisfied with micro; color, size, price and performance.

The microwave works for us as advertised. It is also really good for the price and the timeline that I needed to complete the purchase in. However, the button to open the door is difficult to activate. You have to be perfectly centered on the button to get it to work. Further, the door continues to be stiff to close. I would also like the buttons on the keypad to be a little larger. All things that if I had a floor model to look at first I might have chosen a different model.

Magnetron in my 1999 GE1.8 cu ft 1100 watt model was destroyed due to user error. Didn't realize how much a family of 4 uses the microwave..NEEDED REPLACEMENT FAST! Best Buy has the best prices and quickest delivery. This smaller model affords me more counter space, but lacks -10 & + 10 second cooking feature and the door is not as sturdy. Doesn't have as solid a feel as the one it replaced. Not a deal breaker, I still have my GE and a fast method of reheating leftovers. The only things we actually cook are microwave lasagna and frozen meals..love having 1100 watts in a unit that size. Happy mommy, happy family!

I use my microwave numerous times per day and this one does the job. I had this exact model prior but it died, so ended getting the same to replace it. It is just the right size for us and easy to use.

This microwave is pretty good considering the price. We bought it on sale for our new house. It's big enough for most containers and plates and we have no complaints on how it heats the food. One star deducted because one of the buttons on the touch pad doesn't work but were trying to work it out with GE to get it fixed.

Sleek, nice and has a notification reminder beep. Not too powerful, pretty good job at a great price.

A very nice microwave, a little smaller than my last one but adjusting to it. Price was very good, delivery was quick, arrived in good condition, so yes, would recommend to others.

This microwave is to replace the exact same make and model GE microwave purchased earlier this year. The other one quit working after 3 months. GE's warranty policy requires you to first replace the defective one with another GE product. After purchasing another GE product, you send in your proof of purchase, along with their "Good Will Certificate" and they are supposed to mail you a refund check within 8 weeks. It hasn't been 8 weeks yet, so I hope they honor their policy. If I have any problems with this microwave, I will never buy another GE product, but so far, this one has been working fine. It heats foods and drinks nicely.

GE is a very reputable brand, and I have always had GE microwaves. This one is perfect size and works good, not too loud at all.

There are mixed reviews on this new model. We replaced a similar microwave from GE with this one and were a bit nervous about purchasing because reviews are not great. One thing I will say is the the build of it is not as good as the last one. The door is a bit flimsy, the turntable is made of thinner glass and the plastic piece to turn the turntable is pretty fragile. So far, we have had no issues with the microwave and it works as well as the old one did.

This GE Microwave is easy to use, plenty powerful and large enough to meet the daily needs of my household.

Great microwave! Easy to use, with clear functions. My only issue is that the door feels a little flimsy.

We really like this microwave. It is small and compact but more powerful than many small microwaves. However, we purchased this one to replace an identical one that died in 18 month. We are assuming it was a fluke, but we should not have to replace it after just 18 months (one year warranty).

Just the rights size fits where I wanted it. Quiet and fast.

This microwave comes with a 12 month warranty. Suddenly, without warning, poof! 15 months later it quit working. Naturally, I did not purchase extended warranties. But, still, 15 months...?? And, it was/is the only microwave out there that so perfectly fits its' intended space :( So, I was encouraged to call GE, and lo and behold they offered a complete rebate for replacement!! :) WooHoo!! And, here I was, never going to buy GE again. Stoopid me :) Thanks GE!! my confidence has been restored :)

Previous model lasted 5 yrs before quitting to heat any type of foods. This much improved unit makes cooking/heating simple without having to remember the time settings. For example to heat water for your tea, place cup in the micro, close the door, press BEVERAGE and your water starts heating, 20 seconds prior to completion-the indicator counts from 20 sec to END. Enjoy your cup of tea. You also have the following push buttons for: POPCORN,VEGETABLES,POTATO,CHICKEN,&FISH.

It's a good size it fits all of my bowls no problem and has good power cookes evething in under 3 min

OK, it has been 2 months since we purchased this microwave. The LG we had (which we liked) bit the dust and we needed a new one. After doing extensive research we found this GE model. After 2 months of use we are very pleased with the GE microwave. It has met all of our needs. The keypad is great and it has all the features we wanted. The interior lights up when the door is opened and also while food is being cooked. The popcorn button works well for the brand of popcorn we use. The timed cook function works great as do the programmed cook keys. The only problem we had early on was the unit would slide when opening or closing the door. We solved this by placing a 2 inch wide strip of wood behind it (between it and the counter top back splash) - problem solved. Maybe they can change the feet to something that grips better, don't know.
