I like that this unit works. The 1st one (the same model) had turntable issues. Stopped working after 7 weeks. Took a chance on another one that has been working great for 2 months. Easy to use and heats well. Great size. Hope it holds up

This was a replacement for a very old GE microwave, which was very good but finally went kaput after many years. This new one is higher in wattage 1050 W and slightly bigger. It has the same glass turntable which is removable for cleaning. The instrument panel is mostly the same, so easy to use, but with a few new features, like express cook, add 30 secs. Would definitely buy again!

I have had this microwave for over a year and had no issues whatsoever! It is quite large and will take up a good amount of counterspace although it's worth it because this thing is a beast! Highly reccommend it for anyone looking for a solid microwave.

Got this one when it was on sale, absolutely great value. It is very big, I could heat 2 dishes at the same time. the choices on the screen were very easy to use and navigate. I love the design and got the silver color one, it fits perfectly on my fridge. The quality and money value is good too, definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a microwave.

Not only is the exterior design classic and slick, the size in general is perfect. Popcorn button actually pops a bag of popcorn fully, the beverage heats up your water for tea perfectly as well. Love this purchase!!

I was waiting to review, but after a few weeks of use I am pretty satisfied. It’s pretty good size, quiet and easy to use. The sensor cooking is new to me but works great. For the price it’s worth it.

Even tho the first one I bought just died after a few months usage, I had purchased the protection plan, so it was covered. I received a new one in it's place, and it's been working great ever since that day. It's been 7 months and no problems. The ONLY con is that the door shuts HARD and loudly. But the heating works perfectly.

It is easy to use and has a lot of features that come in very handy. It looks great in my kitchen and the stainless steel is a breeze to clean

The GE microwave was the perfect size for the countertop. The appliance is stylish and the performance was exceptional. We replaced an old GE that was purchased in the early 2000s. The smartsensor seems to be working well. Overall good value for the price.

We were searching for a microwave that wasn’t too light that moved around when opening and closing the door. We needed the exact size for the area allocated. Perfect size and weight! Extremely easy to use with extra features that we didn’t anticipate it coming with. We received earlier than promise date. Extremely happy with our decision to purchase from Best Buy.

This item was purchased to replace the identical item which failed after 11 months. GE's warranty requires the purchase of a GE item and only reimburses for the price of the original purchase, so I am trying the same one and will see if it lasts. Other than the first one failing, the microwave is nice. It is large, powerful, and has great features. I hope the new one makes it a lot longer than 11 months.

I love this microwave. It's easy to use, heats things perfectly so far, and is very spacious inside. My last microwave would always knock the paper towel off of a dish when it was rotating around, because it was so tight inside, but this microwave has enough room for the paper towel to not hit the sides while spinning.

Very easy to clean, nice size for cooking. My older microwave took 2 mins to make the water hot for tea this only takes a minute. No complaints about it.

We recently bought the panasonic 1.6 and ended up returning it and getting this one instead, let me highlight what I love about this GE microwave vs other microwaves: -you can run the timer and cook food at the same time, I thought this was standard but apparently it’s not- it’s a deal breaker for me. I want to time my spaghetti that’s boiling and steam veggies at the same time. This microwave can do it -the beverage sensor function actually senses your beverage and heats it perfectly every time, the panasonic one actually made you input how many ounces your drink was, and then had a set time for each one, this microwave beats the socks off of the panasonic one. -You can read the display from far away. Once again, on the panasonic 1.6, I could not see it from 2 feet away because the way the glass was arranged, the numbers were blurry. This microwave has large clear numbers, you can glance at it from far away and see it perfectly. -The timer keeps beeping until you press a button, on the panasonic one it gave off one small beep and then nothing. It resulted in burnt cookies and anxiety that I had to remain in the room. This GE microwave will beep until you come, so no worries that your food will burn. Some people find this annoying, but I find it way less stressful then a timer that makes you stand 2 feet away and strain to listen to. -It’s fairly quiet -It doesn’t overheat -It cooks food evenly and fast -If you push the +30 sec button, you don’t also have to push start, I like this because I am lazy. Likewise, if you’re reheating a cup of coffee, you just put your coffee in and push the beverage button. It starts heating right away, no need for the start button. -It’s easy to clean, I give it a wipe when I wipe down the counters, it looks new and beautiful with one wipe. That’s about it, the other buttons that I’ve used: pizza and baked potato have been great as well, the potatoes came out perfect. If I could give this microwave more stars, I would. It’s convinced me that GE is making the best microwaves right now. Good job, GE!

I love this microwave! I did alot of research including buying and returning others. I am so glad I did. This microwave heats/defrosts perfectly in less time than my old microwave. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that there are some quirky start/stop features. For example, when the timer completes, the microwave continues to beep until you shut it off by pressing the timer button again. It is well worth adjusting to the quirky start/stop features, just read your manual.

Sleek design, tough build , fast performance, easy to use

Had to replace my old microwave in December, and found this at Best Buy. Has pretty much all the features that I needed and looks pretty sharp in SS. But the great thing was it was the exact size as the Whirlpool I was replacing and fit perfectly into the frame below my cabinet. Works like a champ and cheaper than the Whirlpool it replaced.

We've only owned this GE microwave for a month, but there have been zero problems with it so far (fingers-crossed). I'm impressed that this GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. takes up less counter space than our previous Samsung 1.4 Cu. Ft. microwave. Side note, our Samsung broke after only 3 1/2 years of use, the magnetron wouldn't turn off. I would have bought protection for the Samsung had I known their microwaves weren't as good as their refrigerators. My wife likes this GE microwave better than the Samsung because the stainless steel matches the rest of our appliances. We paid $130 (Presidents Day sale price) + $30 (Geek Squad 4-year protection), and the total is still less than what we paid for the Samsung without protection. Hopefully this GE microwave will last 10 years. I hate replacing appliances earlier than 10 years, but some companies have planned obsolescence built-in so you have to buy a new product.

Works great, Our last GE lasted a good 18+ years, I was the reason for it breaking, so now with COVID closures and not being able to walk into a store, we had to trust the reviews on every microwave online, we wanted something similar and already knew GE are great products, we went with this microwave, size is perfect and isn’t loud, looks exactly like picture, We are learning new things everyday as goes with a “new microwave” but over all it does everything we need it to do plus more. I’m satisfied with our purchase.
