Works great, Our last GE lasted a good 18+ years, I was the reason for it breaking, so now with COVID closures and not being able to walk into a store, we had to trust the reviews on every microwave online, we wanted something similar and already knew GE are great products, we went with this microwave, size is perfect and isn’t loud, looks exactly like picture, We are learning new things everyday as goes with a “new microwave” but over all it does everything we need it to do plus more. I’m satisfied with our purchase.

Good value for the price. Got this GE to replace our old sharpe microwave for the office and so far it’s been working well. Cooks and warm up food so much faster and easy to use. Got it delivered the same day I ordered. Good overall value.

Compact but spacious from inside. Easy to use. Good features. Suits our requirements. The stainless steel color matches our other appliances. Its doesn't even take more space on the counter.

I've bought this model multiple times over the years. It fits the semi-enclosed shelf in my kitchen, most current models are too deep, I'm lucky they still make it. It heats evenly and I use it for cooking entire meals as well as reheating. This replaced one I bought in April 2020 which I wish had lasted a little longer. It gets frequent (10+x a day) use, so maybe 2 years is all I should expect. It seems to last 3-5 years. I wonder if this one will last any longer, because it was built in the era of "supply chain" issues; the first thing I noticed was the beeper sounds "off." I'm getting used to it, as long as the microwave works, that's what counts. Features: The automatic sensor cooking is pretty good. I've started using a silicone lid on some items and the sensor won't accurately detect the degree of doneness, but that's kind of what you'd expect. Baked potato is one of my favorite settings, too.

The GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. Microwave-SS is a great microwave. It is simple to use, I love the ease of the Express Cook buttons and the add 30 sec button. I use them every day for 1-touch cooking times. The size of the microwave is great, it is large enough for meals, but not oversized like most big microwaves. The best part of it is that the inside is white and has a light. I looked at many microwaves, but most had the gray inside, which I dislike. This is bright white inside and the front is trimmed in brushed stainless steal. I would highly recommend.

Microwaves seem to need replacing more often then they used to so it doesn’t make sense to spend a lot of money on one. This model works really great and gets heavy use in my household from heating beverages to aiding in making dinner. You pretty much plug it in and go. It is easy to use, has the rotating dish inside and is easy to clean. I have to look at the directions to look up some of the quick settings like “melt” or “popcorn” but otherwise the basic functions are very straight forward. Beautiful looking on the outside and fits into any kitchen design.

This seems to be a great microwave! I purchased it on Black Friday and have used it for about a month and have had no issues. It heats food evenly and is a huge improvement from our old 700-watt microwave. Seems like a quality brand that will last a long time. Great size! Fits perfectly on top of my portable dishwasher. Would recommend this microwave!

I love this microwave! I bought it as a replacement for a bigger GE microwave that had stopped heating at any setting but high. That microwave was purchased in 2016. Since I am a prolific user of my microwave at 20%, 30% and 70% settings, depending on what I'm doing, I really need all power levels to work. I decided to go with the black stainless steel because I have all black appliances in my kitchen but I wanted one less likely to show fingerprints. My old black GE microwave was terrible about fingerprints, but this black stainless steel one is great! It stays look clean and pretty. The defrost setting works better and more quickly than my old microwave - so do the potato and popcorn settings as well. I did find that the beverage setting does not work well for reheating my tepid morning coffee - apparently it's for heating from cold to hot. It had my lukewarm coffee boiling! So, I have to use the 30 second setting for reheating coffee. The interior can old a 13 x 9 pan, but the pan is be too big to actually turn on the turntable without the pan corner hitting the interior wall. My fix for this is to turn the turntable upside down so it doesn't turn and I rotate the pan halfway through cooking. This microwave is a lighter weight than my former microwave and I had to put a grip pad underneath it to keep it from shifting on the counter when the door is opened or closed. But, I do love this one! Hope it lasts me a long time!

works very well. i upgraded because my previous one was a couple years old and this one was at a very good price. its larger which is nice and has more options for settings then i had before. my only real complaint is its one of those you can only cook by the whole or half minute intervals. i like being able to put in 45 seconds if desired and walk away, not have to watch the timer and hit stop at the 15 second mark

Works great. 4 stars because no printout instruction and Quick Guide included; you have to download instruction by yourself. If you just moved in and no internet connection yet, you won't be able to figure out how to use it unless you had GE brand before. Also GE should have option to select how many seconds you want for express cook. Add 30 seconds is too much if you just want less than 30 seconds.

Have been very pleased with this GE counter top microwave so far. We have only had it a month but it is quiet, and seems to cook everything a little faster than my old over the gas range one it replaced even though the old one had 50 more watts of power than this one. My old one had a built in exhaust hood that left the old microwave grease covered most all the time. Now my new microwave sits on the counter and I have a large exhaust hood installed above my range which does a much better job. Only thing I would do to improve on it would be to back light the key pad so it is easier to read in a dim lighted room and make the door less tinny sounding when you close it.

Love the ease of use. Was very affordable and simple to use. Fit perfectly in the space and runs quiet.

Great microwave that cooks evenly and reminds me of food still remaining inside before it can be used again. It is easy to clean and is quieter than any other microwave I have had in the past while in operation.

We were in the market for a new microwave and got one from (a small number of choices) at Home Depot - and had to give it away because it wouldn't cook and activate the timer simultaneously. At Best Buy, the salesman doubted the GE model we researched online would do so, but it does and we are very pleased with it. Plenty of models to choose from and well-priced.

Got this model after our old GE quit working. This one is even better. Has all the features we need without being overly complicated.

You don’t realize how much you use your microwave until it goes out. I had looked several places and it had to be a certain size because it sat on a shelf so couldn’t be too wide, deep, etc. This fit everything I needed and it’s worked great.
