This is a great little microwave! Has enough power watts, is compact and has nice features. The only thing i would add is a handle. I noticed a handle helps close/open the door easier and quieter. Overall: nice little countertop microwave. Would purchase again.

My previous microwave died. This is a item I wanted to see in person. I went to 5 stores and was surprised to find they either only have small cheap ones on display or they don't much to look at. I have specific ekxternal dimensions I need to meet. This one met my needs and has been great.

Size is good for an over the stove space. (but made for counter) A bit more powerful than the one I had previously. Still getting used to where all the buttons are from previous microwave but I can’t complain… I love it

Wonderful microwave, great size and easy use. The only wish is that the writing on it is easier to read. Maybe an elderly thing, but in a corner, I have to use a flashlight.

The GE 1.6 cu. ft. countertop microwave works great for everyday use. It heats evenly, has plenty of space, and the controls are simple and intuitive. It runs quietly and is easy to clean—overall a dependable, no‑frills appliance that does its job well.

GE Microwave 1.6 cf This unit has worked really well for 4 months. A know issue was fogg when cooking over couple minutes, not a deal killer for us. The carousel stopped rotating... we'll return.

This microwave is great. The heating is even and there are many features. I love the way it looks and the ease of use.

I’ve been really impressed with the GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave with Sensor Cooking and Defrost. It heats food quickly and evenly, and the sensor cooking feature takes the guesswork out of timing. The stainless-steel design looks great on the counter and feels very sturdy. It’s spacious enough for larger dishes but still fits nicely in the kitchen. Overall, a reliable, powerful microwave that makes every day cooking much easier. Highly recommend!

GE 1.6 microwave, I was shopping for a second microwave as our other microwave over our stove is much higher than expected,so I cannot handle liquids or boiling water safely. Who knew that would be possible. So we purchased this GR microwave, and we only buy American made products and GE is the best, somehow they manage to produce exceptional appliances at affordable prices and I will buy a GE appliance over kitchen aid. I had a brand new kitchen and bought kitchen for all. It did not do the simple things as I expected, so I sold them all and replaced with GE, I hope they remain affordable and keep improving as new technology advances. THANK YOU GE

We had one over the stove for years and I never did like it. We did a slight remodel and switched to a counter top model and this one worked out perfectly. It is big enough for my leftover plates and has the power to cook those big dishes

Bought this to replace a 20 yr old large size counter-top GE microwave. Chose GE's mid-size microwave which is urprisingly designed very similarly to my old one. However, the "build" is not as substantial as my old one. This one does have slightly more power and the mid-size works perfectly for my needs. Although the unit was delivered very well factory-packagaged, the small ring that goes under the round glass arrived broken. I was able to glue it together before using the microwave and after a month's use, there's been no problem. I'm satisfied with this GE mid-size microwave primarily because of good size, has 1 thru 6 minute instant-on buttons as well as 30 second button, power, and price.

This is a great microwave. Just a couple of annoying things. The "buttons" do not light and are VERY hard to read unless you shine a light directly on them. The other thing is the reheat feature. When you use it, you have to select "1" or "2" and then the window with the numbers is just a dash going in circles. No idea what "1" and "2" are doing. Can't find that information anywhere. Both options are way too long, or high power, as the food is dried out and too done to eat. So, I guess just don't use that option. When we want to reheat, we just use cook time of whatever length and power 6. Oh, and the popcorn button actually does a great job. That's a first for us. It is a good size so fits most dishes and platters that we have which is nice too. Overall a good machine, just a couple quirks.

Nice sized microwave . Not too small and not too large. We needed a microwave for the office as our previous GE took ten years of abuse before it finally quit. This unit works nicely and has child locks as well
