I've had the microwave about a month and have been very pleased with it. It replaced a previous model GE 1000-watt unit. and the performance is approximately the same. I especially like the Beverage heating feature. Instead of having a single setting for all size mugs, it's possible to set it for 4oz, 8oz, 12oz or 16oz. Defrost can be by weight or by time and the turntable can be turned off if desired.

Works like it should. I have no complaints. When going by instructions on many prepackaged foods, this microwave will be done a good 30 seconds less than indicated. I'm really happy I upgraded from a microwave that takes up counter space. Spend the extra bucks for this.

I had an older model of this microwave. I liked it so I replaced it with the newer model. Yes, the door is loud and doesn't feel as sturdy as before. This doesn't bother me so I rate it a 5. I hope it lasts as good as the previous one.

It is a very good model with straight forward controls. I replaced a previous model that looked identical but found that the location of the top mounting bolts were in a different location so I had to drill new holes in the cabinet above. Other than that I am very satisfied.

This product has a better handle for opening and closing. I was told by a best buy representative that my old one was discontinued because the handle fell of on a lot of people. The product is great but the customer services was even better. The installer did a great job and was very helpful. I have a best buy total membership and that 179.99 is worth every penny.

The microwave worked wonderfully and as expected for 3 weeks when the right surface light burned out. My last microwave lasted 15 years with no burned out lights! Apparently the lights on this model are a problem as reviews indicated and which I had not seen. Bulbs can break in socket and are VERY difficult to remove. They also are expensive to replace like $18. Best Buy resolved the problem and sent a geek squad to change the defective bulb, but they advised that this would be the only time. So far, so good, but it is something to consider especially since I only had the thing for 3 weeks.

Great microwave, but the vent isn’t great. Also, the keypad scratches easily when cleaning.

I ordered this from Best Buy because it was the best price for this model. I chose this model because it was replacing a similar GE over the range 30 in. microwave that I have had for over 10 years and just recently stopped heating. I thought MAYBE if I order this model the mounting rack on the wall and the bolt holes in the cabinet above from my current model would be the same for this one. However neither was the case. I had to remove the old wall bracket and drill new holes in the bottom of the cabinet above to mount the new unit. You would think that GE would want to give you every reason to order their model again by making the hardware and mounting bolt locations all the same as previous models of the same size. But no, that would make too much sense. That would have been a huge time saver in the installation process. Other than that, the microwave is as expected, it works fine, and I hope it lasts over 10 years like the last one.

I had to replace a GE Cafe microwave, but I didn't really need all the features. I really only need the microwave to reheat food and beverages, not for cooking and this serves the purpose. I like that you can just press 1, 2 or 3 and it heats it to the corresponding minutes - no need to press start. I picked the cheapest GE model, but the next level up is nice, too, if you don't mind spending the extra hundred. It has an interior "coating" that makes it easy to clean. You don't really think you need it until you start cleaning the splatter. Then you wish you took the option.

Its easy to operate and is quieter than other models.

We had a GE Spacesaver microwave for 12 years and just died.. Decided to get same manufacturer and glad we did. Fit on same bracket as original microwave and much quieter. Only thing I'm not to excited about is when the unit turns off the fan automatically comes on for a few seconds, but all an all very happy with the purchase

Very good microwave. Slightly smaller than others which allows more space over the oven. The controls are good and it works very well. Only minor negative, the time of day display is hard to read because the numbers are too close together.

I bought two of these microwaves. I gave one to my daughter. We bought love this microwave.

It works, installed easily. Box was punctured with what look like forklift tine, but product undamaged. Had to run around to several Bestbuys to find one that had the product, they apparently wouldn't answer the phone from other stores. Thumbs up on the microwave, thumbs down on Bestbuy store inventory and communications.
