I installed these above the range microwaves in many of my rental properties and with heavy use they do not last long. (Just until the extended warranty expires) Interesting?

The unit is pretty good replacement but doesn’t have all the bells and whistle’s which is fine if you’re not looking for them. It is a little bit louder than some units but it’s still pretty quiet.

So I went with GE again when I was in the market for another one. It was on sale which sweetened the deal, and the installation went very well for the Geek installers from Best Buy. I will definitely use Best Buy for any new appliances!

Second GE microwave

Have tried rubber washers on all the screws and using rubber spacers between cabinetry and microwave. Other than that, we love it.

The decision to stay with the same GE model was because it being an easy fit over the range and we did like the former one but-unfortunately it just completely stopped working . The newer one doesn’t seem to be exactly the same there are some changes, only slight ones and the microwave doesn’t seem as sturdy either. Hoping this will last a bit longer, since when it was replaced it was like brand new. Wondering if there was a defect. As far as recommending this product I probably would have to wait and see if this Microwave has a longer life before doing any recommending

Used the templet provided to drill the holes in the upper cabinets and the mounting bracket on the wall was almost identical. My neighbor helped me lift it into place. Installed the filters and made adjustments to the back exhaust. Perfect!

Display/button layout not what I'm used to in a microwave. Buttons can be difficult to activate when pressed. Overall it works very well though.

We have had the same model in the past at a different house. The express cook times are a nice convenience. What we dont like (personal preference here) and thus deducted 1 star for it is the very bright white display. It used to be green and not so crazy bright. Wr have had issues with our other one (dirty door switches causing the breaker to be tripped) but 6 months after i ckeaned them the issue has not come back. We will see if this one develops the same issue over time.
