    Ok but why do we have to shut the door so hard? Shouldn't there be a soft touche? I can tell that the door switch will be the first thing fail

If you find that your microwave door closes loudly or is harder to close than your previous model, the difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave.     The workers who installed the microwave were extremely careful, knowledgeable & friendly. Showed up on time & answered any questions we had about the unit. I would definitely recommend them to our friends & family.

    The microwave itself is great. We did self installation and its hard to believe that you purchase something that you have to take apart in places and insert items before installation. Over all a great product

    I love this microwave, very quiet. Only 2 things I would change. The vent fan speeds (low and high) seem to be the same. Also I would love for the control pad to be back lit.

    I have not had it very long so far so good. I will see how long it will last because the last two different brands of microwaves that I had both did not last very long so I hope this GE will last.

    I bought this GE Microwave when my previous overtop when out. I had my previous GE over all 10 years. I absolutely love it. Very quiet and looks great. Working on replacing other kitchen appliances.
