Nice product so far, buttons are a little odd to press correctly and it is louder than some I've had before. It seems that the vent runs every time it's on, not sure yet if it's a setting or just the way its designed. Installation was straightforward, and the dimensions are accurate. Esthetically it is nice, brushed stainless looks nice and it looks great new.

The overall quality this microwave is good, but some of the cosmetics fall short. The digital numbers are too close together and too blocky. The time is hard to read from farther then 3 ft. The arrangement of the buttons is not intuitive. The over head light button is located in the middle level of the keyboard. Considering how dark the keypad is it would have been nice to have something lit. It is very hard to see buttons in the dark (see light button). I do like the construction and the quick press of a number to start cooking (press 2 and it quick starts at 2 min).

Very good choice. Excellent functional system. Excellent option. It works perfectly. It heats up super well, and fast.

Got this to replace a GE Profile that finally died after 20+ years. I decided to go with the GE after reading a lot of the reviews and GE's responses indicating that the bracket and the cabinet holes would be the same, so it should be quick and simple plug and play installation. It was late in the day and I wanted this to be an easy replacement. IT WAS NOT. The outer tabs on the existing bracket did not align with the holes on this new microwave. Had to Dremel the ends of the outer tabs to fit the new microwave slots on the back of the unit. The existing bracket was very sturdy and very secure, so I wasn't interested in figuring out where to drill new holes in the studs for the new wall bracket. Also they changed the location of the holes on top of the unit. <angry!> So we had to futz with the template to figure out where to drill new holes in the cabinet above and finally get this installed. So what should have taken no more than an hour to take down the old one and put up the new one became a 3 hour ordeal. The good: Microwave appears to work great and is much quieter than the old Profile unit. The bad: Couldn't rely on GE's responses to previous reviews and questions. If your GE microwave is several years old, or is part of the older but excellent Profile series, you can't just plug and play this new unit. You'll have to shorten the outer tabs on the existing wall bracket, and you'll still have to drill all new holes because they changed the location of the screws on top of the unit. Also, they changed the location of the range light and +30 seconds buttons. You know, the two buttons we use the most. Also, it does NOT have a fingerprint resistant finish. I think some websites might list it as fingerprint resistant.

After 24 years we had to replace our GE microwave, it didn’t owe us anything! So, naturally, GE was going to be the manufacturer but which store would we pick? No brained! Best Buy, of course! We have the warranty/tech plan, with them, What I didn’t realize was that it gave us free installation and removal of the old unit which was a $170 value. It basically paid for itself with one transaction. More on the new microwave: great price and SUPER quiet! What more can you ask?! It’s awesome!

This replaces a very similar GE unit that we bought with the house. This unit is waaaayyy quieter - so quiet that at first I thought it wasn't working! Heats like a charm and bonus - our magnetic food cover fits in the middle above the rotating tray, while the old one had something in the way so we had to think about where it would go each time. Easy install although I had to drill new holes in the cabinets and walls since the holes in the top of the unit and the bracket are different than the other GE model. Very happy with this choice.

Great replacement for my 12 year old GE microwave. Price was very reasonable and unit works well. Buttons are easy to understand/learn. Door seems a wee bit flimsy, but just being careful opening and closing. Nice bargain!

Fits above our stove perfectly and is nice and sleek looking. It is actually a lower wattage than the one it replaced and works/cooks/heats just as quickly.

The GE over the range microwave was a great replacement for our old microwave that died after 20 years. It was a great price and was very easy to install using the included templates and mounting hardware. My only complaint is that the popcorn setting does not fully cook a bag of popcorn. I have to add another minute and wait for the popping to stop at about 45 seconds. All other functions are great.

This was a replacement for a 20 year old GE. It's a little larger than the old one but is quieter. Easy to use and it works well. Best buy installed it and they did a great job.Seems to heat evenly and quickly.

Purchased this microwave ave to replace orginal over the stove model. Istalling wasn't hard but putting it in plce is a two person job. Runs quietly, easy to use and makes a great bag of popcorn.

We’ve had this microwave for a few weeks and everything’s working great! Best Buy’s installation team was awesome and made sure the microwave fit properly and was firmly secured to the upper cabinets. IT looks very nice and modern. love the “Express “ bottoms which are numbers 1-6. Just press “3” for example, and the oven will cook for 3 minutes. The inside is a nice clean white that does not streak like stainless steel, We picked this microwave because of the excellent reviews and great price. I bought it on Wednesday and Best Buy installed it the next day! We are very happy so far.
