Hopefully this one will last longer than that. Overall the design and function are great. We got it on sale so that was a plus too. It is fairly quiet and my handy husband installed with minimal effort. We did buy online pick up in store and it was great.

It has everything I need and the price was decent. Love all the features. I am still getting used to the keypad. But, I have no real complaints. So far, so good. I always need my eye glasses, as they are so faint. I didn't see it on "the floor", so was not aware it's so reflective. I can't send photo this way. Tnx for asking. I do appreciate the one press of numbers I need.

GE Over the Range Microwave

It performed well until it started to fail just 3 months past the warranty end date. Item Installed 5/31/23. Sound panel began to fail on 9/1/25. Total tech extended warranty is misleading as it states the purchase is covered for an additional 24 months. However, according to C/S Rep. the warranty is only extended for 12 months beyond the manufacturers 12 month warranty. The 24 month extended warranty only applies to APPLE products. One Star Rating based on the fact that we as consumers should not have to be replacing appliances every two years, and if that is what things are coming to, then the microwave should have been priced at $50.00 to $75.00. Very disappointed with GE...They used to build quality products.

Functions are overall great and seems to be a great microwave for the price. Just seems louder then other microwaves i've used. Really its great other then being loud.

I never had a timer on the microwave before and it really comes in handy when cooking several things at once. I also love the one touch buttons for 1 minute and 30 seconds. It’s quite and nice looking. It’s way better than my last Samsung microwave.

Perfect replacement for our failure prone Kenmore

The unit when installed looks great operates quietly and works as expected. Best of all the price of the GE microwave was significantly less than the Kenmore unit it replaced when purchased in 2010.

When you install, make sure to change the fan direction in the back to match your config. I had to remove it and change it which wasn't too big a deal. A+ unit.

I checked Consumers and they rated this one as the best.. Best Buy had the BEST price for it. I went to the store, ordered the microwave and it was delivered a few days later as told to me by the salesperson. It was delivered by Fed/Ex. I'm very happy with the microwave, but as mentioned above the door is very tight, maybe it should be.
