A basic microwave at a very good price. I have had it 1 month and performs equally if not better then higher price microwaves.

Very easy to use and has all needed controls easily marked. The micro wave capacity is smaller than previous micro but we only use our oven to heat items or cook potatoes and pop popcorn so this size suits us well. So happy it came in the bisque color to match rest of kitchen.

This review is for a white GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave. The microwave was purchased to replace an 18 year old Frigidaire FMT144G1W3 microwave. The dimensions provided in the advertisement were accurate and the GE microwave fit within the space previously occupied by the old microwave. The new microwave worked after the initial installation and continues to work as advertised. The installation was fairly straightforward. The manual could be clearer, especially as it applies to the installation of the filter.

Chose this microwave because it was replacing a similar one, so we knew it would fit in the space. We like that it has the 30 second button, but don't know why GE felt the need to change its location on the pad. It's a little higher wattage than the old one, which is nice. Good microwave for a great sale price of under $200 - the size and power are quite sufficient. However, if you're looking for high quality, this is not the one.

This is a really good microwave the other one we had was just like it just older model and lasted for about 8 years with no problems till it went out and I found this one and bought it at a nice discount and installed it fairly fast since almost everything is the same!!

Microwave works. BUT the control panel broke almost immediately. It doesn't beep anymore, its always flashing and the light over the stove is really hit and miss. It will be fine for a year and then you have to replace the bulb ever two weeks for a couple months, and then it'll work for another year. Would not purchase again
