    Good purchase and quick install. I didnt use the template because it detailed measurments off the centerline which i marked. Have used for 3 weeks and no issues as noted in the "Bad" reviews.

    Easy installation, looks nice. Extremely load fan when operating though, Sound level was 80dB standing in front of it, like a hair dryer. The fan "automatically" turns on, so its always loud. It should be a whisper unless I turn on the vent, does the electronics really need 300CFM to keep cool? Many people commented how quite it is, while some had same noise complaint. I Replaced a 20year old GE microwave that was very quite, so I either got a bad unit or that's just the noise levels people are used to now... i will talk to GE about this issue.

    The microwave I ordered JVM3160DFWW was correct on the box, The actual microwave was JVM3160DF9WW. The 9 obviously makes the microwave cheaper as it only has one surface light and the display had 2.

      The model number on the microwave itself may include an extra digit, when compared to the model number on the box. This is an engineering digit, and is there in case a technician ever needs to examine the appliance and identify specific manufacturing information. This extra digit does not mean you received the wrong model. If the microwave you received is different than a display you saw and you still believe you received a different unit than what you originally ordered, we recommend contacting Best Buy at 888-237-8289 to address this issue.     The reason for the 4 stars. I've had this model in the past. Probably lasted for about 6 years up until I started getting a blown fuse internally. I'd have to disassemble the microwave and replace the fuse. After replacing it numerous times per month. I thought I'd buy a new one. This microwave is pretty easy to use and works well in the over the range area. Not sure why the blown fuses but still a good product.

    This model is a upgrade of my previous microwave.Everthing is same as previous model. The delivery & install went flawless. The installors had to make some minor adjustments for it to fit under my counter. Best Buy price was cheaper than the other big box warehouses.

    Previous over-the-range GE microwave stopped working after 15 years. Wanted to stick with GE so no modifications would be needed to reinstall new microwave. The old one was white. The new microwave is stainless steel. What a difference the stainless steel makes in my kitchen! It looks classy! I like the features, it is quieter and seems to heat food faster. I am very pleased with the price, the style and the functionality.

    I hope that it lasts a while. I am replacing a microwave from 1994 that was still going strong only replaced for cosmetic reasons. So far it works great. Installation was a little annoying with templates they give. I found it easier to just pull out a ruler measure where the holes are going for brackets and too bolts. Overall it works great.. we rarely use it for anything more than a 2:00 minute cook.. serves our needs well.

    Very happy with this microwave, installation was easy and it looks great. Also the cook settings are simple to get used to and the light is nice and bright with a dimmer option to go with it
