Microwave does exactly what I need it to do. It's much lighter than my previous one, which had a rack so multiple items could be heated at once. This one does not have a rack. My previous GE lasted 12 years and was replaced due to a kitchen remodel. We'll see if this one lasts as long.

Bought this to replace the same model from 10 years ago. Thought it would be the same or better. Turned out to be cheaper and worse in terms of quality. Also, the bolts are not in the same spots and the mounting plate changed. I thought it was going to be a simple swap, but it required a bit more effort than expected. The touch pad is cheap. Pressing certain buttons make a cheap plastic creaking sound which didnt happen my old unit. The blower unit also makes a high pitch noise that didnt exist on my old microwave. If you're sensitive to noise, you may want look elsewhere. The door is very light and feels cheap. The top edge of my door was grinding against the adjacent edge of the microwave housing or cover. It made a popping sound every time I opened the door. I had to get a screwdriver and hammer to reshape the metal housing to fix the problem. Bad QC by GE. There is only one light bulb instead of two found on older models, so this one is dimmer but still ok. Otherwise, the microwave works fine.

Crew that installed were timely, pleasant, and knew what they needed to do. Very quick install. The MW works like expected, it must be more powerful as times need to be shortened. Looks... very minimalist which I like.

Bought this as part of a kitchen remodel. Installed relatively easily, and cooks just fine. Initially the cooktop lights were of different intensities, and one burnt out after 3 days. Had a heck of a time finding the right bulb, as most are too long and last about a hour. Finally ordered from GE parts online, but not cheap. I hope the new bulb lasts longer!

Simple to use. Heats very well. Plenty of room inside. Easy installation

(I purchased this in 2019, not sure why it says purchased in 2020) This has been a good replacement for a high-end Bosch microwave. When the expensive unit died I made up my mind not to pay premium price for a microwave again. This was on sale and it’s worked great for over a year now. Has all the basic functions we need and a fraction of the price.

Love this stylish very efficient microwave. Hate the touch panel which is hard to see and know which button is which. Always have to study the panel before selecting function as it’s hard to see what is what. This panel needs to be revised to make it easier to read. We all don’t have 20yr old eyes

We love our new Microwave! We purchased it to go with the new range. Our old unit was quickly giving out so we decided to go with this GE unit which has good ratings on Consumer reports. It fits nicely above the range. Our appliances were installed efficiently by a Third Party team.
