Microwave is very loud. On the upside the look is very sleek.

Had since Aug. 2022, now as of Dec 2024, the magnetron is going bad, sounds like a sickly humpback whale. Sadly this is my 1st dealing and major appliance purchase (stove, refridge and dishwasher) for GE appliances and I am less then thrilled to have to buy another already.

The microwave is good but needed service from warranty in first 30 days. The part has been back ordered for almost 2 months

We bought this microwave because it gets very positive reviews, but we scored a lemon. 6 months after we purchased it. It stopped working 3 separate times. GE sent a repair guy who ordered parts and fixed it. 3 weeks later a different part failed, the thermostat. Same process and 3 months later it broke down a 3rd time. Appears to be the thermostat again and now we had it. No more GE microwaves.

I am surprised there are so many good reviews. This microwave is super loud. I had an old GE microwave which stopped working/heating, and was producing a loud buzzing sound. This new microwave has similar loud sound. My heart rate goes up when this is microwave is on. Note that there is no loud sound if you use reheat. But for other settings like Express Cook, there is this loud buzzing sound (which is as loud if not louder than the vent fan. The vent fan sound is at least more pleasant) I exchanged it once, and it has the same sound. Tired of exchanging again, I had a technician come over to check it out. Technician says it is normal. My 12 year old GE microwave was much quieter.

Microwave look fine but Missing all hardware had to order in Amazon because the bolt holder the microwave on top of cabinet is special bolt .

Best Buy the name doesn’t keep there words of saying price match guarantee. Don’t trust on there this guarantee it’s a lie… I bought this microwave and price dropped after 2 week when I went for price match they said they can not do price match because item was already discounted. That was very disappointing…

I love the features this microwave offers, such as melt for butter or cheese or the defrost feature. It's a great microwave!

the dials are not located in an orderly fashion and you have to stop and search whenever you want to make a selection.

Good cheap microwave. Usual poor service at the store.

This new microwave does not cook as fast, is much louder and overall not as satisfied with the performance.

Microwave works but make a slightly annoying rattling when running.

I bought these a few times now for my apartment building and they work well

Purchased April, 2019 to replace an older GE model which was over 16 years old and still working. Replaced to match color of our new stove. Unfortunately a BIG mistake as this unit started to show signs of trouble before reaching it’s second anniversary, and as of this past weekend no longer heats. What gives GE, should I have bought one of your competitors instead?

Arrived defective. The fan goes on when any good is heated. Very noisy... GE warranty is taking weeks to get the part and return to fix the brand new installed microwave.

It's a microwave. It does what it's supposed to do.

The fan has 2 settings. Loud and Superloud. Otherwise it’s a good microwave

Under the microwave air filters fall onto stove when door is closed. Asked for replacements 2 times and received the filters 2 sizes too large each time. Otherwise Microwave works great!
