It’s fine for a basic microwave. This replaced an older version of the same model that stopped working right after the warranty ended. I hope this will last a little longer than just the warranty period.

I love my new microwave oven. pretty. I've had only old microwaves. this one defrosts really well. vent fan a little noisy.

So far so good. Previous GE microwave shorted out at the rack holder, at 9 years installed. This GE has no rack, is very easy to use, does an excellent job. Hope it lasts well.

I ordered the larger one because of the bad reviews on the door on the smaller one. This one works great and I'm glad not to deal with problems.

They were very kind, but I would have appreciated if at first, when they came in, they would have worn booties on their shoes. Only after I have mentioned it, and they had to leave to pick up some parts, they returned with those. Also, they were drilling above my stove, without covering it, until I brought a towel, and then they put a plastic cover.

I purchased this microwave to replace one that been smoking and stop working, I had to go with an option of comparable dimensions and that has to fit the existing hanging metal wall frame. Installation was reasonably easy and it looking as esthetic as expected from a budget unit. Overall functionality is as good as the more pricey one it replaced. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased this microwave to replace my existing over the counter microwave. It was a perfect fit and the installation was not too terrible! A handy person and I were able to install it in about a half an hour as the existing wall bracket was the same as what was needed for the new microwave. The only issue I have is the digital readout is a bright white color and doesn’t match the more green readout color on the oven below! But all in all a good buy.

Nice for midrange priced microwave. Many features which prior older microwave didn’t have. Nice update.

The GE - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave is great. I purchased this to replace an older version of this model that was starting to have some problems. So far, I haven't had any problems with this newer model and I am very happy with it. I suggest also purchasing the professional installation from Best Buy. The installer arrived on time and completed the job amazingly fast despite it being a pretty intensive operation. Great job Best Buy!

Bought this GE to replace a defective (other brand) microwave that came with our new home. This model is full of features; easy to use; and good looking. Lots of features - although I probably won't use many - it does exactly what it needs to. Cooks, defrosts, reheats! We've had GE microwaves in the past and they last & last. I also really like that it has a feature where I can turn the screen off at night to reduce light.

This unit is a very low cost product. It makes noises on initial startup and while rotating. Not the best quality The tray is easily unconnected from the drive mechanism. The setting buttons are not sensitive enough. The cooking power is adequate. Installation was relatively easy.

This GE microwave is very efficient and easy to use. Great value and looks pretty good above my stove.
