The microwave was damaged and couldn’t be installed. The upper top left and would not fit in the space.

The oven works well and looks very nice. However, it is the LOUDEST microwave I've ever had. And Ive had many over the years.

Nowhere in specs is it stated that this microwave is apparently designed in the 70's, since it uses 2 halogen bulbs in its over the range light, instead of LED or even incandescent. The cover to that light gets extremely hot, and therefore I can't use it like I used all my other microwave lights and leave it on for extended periods of time, since I feel that may be unsafe, or damaging to the plastic, and it's impossible to replace the bulbs with other types. GE knows that it uses halogen bulbs, and the company should make that clear in the specs. Otherwise, it performs like your average microwave.

We bought this microwave #1. It was suppose to be brand new and when we picked it up it was an open box. We were unable to hang it since the bolts were broke off on the top. So we got them to reorder it for us. Microwave #2 came in and the box was damaged but the delievery guy said he had looked at it and it seemed to be ok. When we opened the box the top of the microve was dented in but we went ahead and hung it, You can see the dent on the top but won't be buying anything from Best Buy again.

Microwave oven performed as expected, but was disappointed that a hard copy of the owner's manual was not included in the box.

the numbers are hard to press! I thought they should go on the moment I pressed them, but it takes a few times before it kicks in! Everything else is fine

Bought this microwave on Jan 2nd, it now doesn't work, not heating food. I am an elite BB member. Bought ALL my major appliances to my house from BB and there was no consideration for me to bring it back to the store. With all the different combinations of geek squad, store warranty and manufactures warranty, this 15 day warranty for major appliances makes no sense at all. Extremely disappointed with the product but more with their customer care considerations

Not sure if I can add anything new to the previous reviews. The good news: 1. We love the slate finish and will buy slate appliances going forward. 2. All of the features seem to work as advertised. It has the features we need. 3. Seems slightly more powerful that the old Whirlpool it replaced. 4. Runs very quiet during normal cooking. 5. Easy installation and fits perfectly. The not so great news: 1. Agree with others. The display can be a bit tough to see in anything but a bright room. 2. Agree with others. The vent fan is surprisingly loud. 3. Agree with others. I can live with the surface light being near the back but it does a better job of illuminating my new backsplash than it does lighting up the stove top. 4. The door does have a slightly chincy feel when you pull it.

Microwave came broke had another on truck second microwave was dented only gave me $80 to keep dented microwave. Should of been half priced.

I have been please with GE microwaves in the past. This model would no longer heat before 6 months of use. It was repaired and now it is doing the same thing again a few months later. Two major breakdowns in an 8 month old appliance is unacceptable. I like all the features when it works but fear the quality of GE has declined or I got a lemon.

Microwave works well. Great features and work correctly. Looks nice and modern. Easy installation.

This replaced an existing microwave. Installation was a bit trick and took a good 2 hours to get right and level. If you are not handy and don't have the tools definitely go for the professional install. The unit itself works great and the recirculating fan is quieter and better then the unit it replaced.

It's a microwave, hard to get too excited. Consumer Reports liked it well enough and it fit the space. Fitting the space was the first priority. It is working as expected

I needed to replace my stove top microwave, which was only 6 yrs old and of course out of warranty. Since it was a GE I replaced it with another one. I hope it lasts.

Shorter/higher than i expected. More bottons than necessary. Good for the price.

I had purchased the same item previously (1.5 yrs ago) but the repair would cost more than a new one. No extended warranty the first time. They don't make them to last

Budget-friendly & meets our needs. The stainless-steel version is more visually appealing but our kitchen appliances are all black

Very noisy operation. I only purchased this model because the better appliances were not in stock

I liked this microwave until it broke about two years after using. Paid extra for 5 year warranty with geek squad but it’s been about a month now and they say the parts needed are “unavailable” and have no idea when it’ll come in but also refuse to replace so i have no idea how long I’m out a microwave. If you buy don’t waster your time getting extended warranty buy somewhere else

The light that shines over the stove top is to far back. Only two screws to hold to the top cabinet.
