This is our first built-in microwave. We were redoing the kitchen and wanted the vent since we have none for the stove. The settings match my previous GE counter top, so that was a win. It has plenty of room for average use, and the controls are easy. Some items to note: - I find this one needs your finger on the button a bit longer than my previous two GE microwaves - It runs the vent when the microwave runs, so it's louder than the countertop models - The handle can be a challenge to someone short or weaker as opening the door takes a solid pull; the counter top model was easier with the push-button door opening All in all it's a nice model with some features we didn't have before (like muting), but the things noted above prevent me from going for a full 5-stars.

Overall it's a good oven. I've had it for a year and nothing has gone wrong performed fine. Big drawback for me is the control panel plastic scratches very easily even though I only use cloth on it. Also like all stainless steel it's hard to keep looking clean. I wish I had gone with always appliances . Functionally the most irritating part is if you leave cooking time on it it thinks there's food in there and forces you to open the door before you can proceed with extra heating. Also I wish the timer on off button was in a different place because I keep hitting it instead of the add 30 second button.

This is a beautiful microwave with many features and easy to handle the installation as everything was supplied. I was able to get this to replaced a Kenmore that stop working after over 15 years of usage and this GE was the best I could find in a hurry at a fantastic price. I hope it will last as long as my old one. The buttons are "push" buttons not the sensitive ones I had on the old one and the door doesn't seem to be as sturdy... but for the price I can't ask for anything else for now.

Great microwave. The fit in my cabinets is not ideal, as I cannot open the door all the way.

It is 1000 watt. We weren’t sure how well/fast it would cook. It does very well. “Buttons” rearranged differently but we are learning. Has defrost, popcorn etc. It works for us well. Our main uses are frozen dinners, reheat dishes, pop corn, defrost. It was completely different hole placing when installing. Make sure you measure and check placement first.

Overall solid. Been using for over a month now. Controls are easy and unit is compact. It is an inch smaller than previous one but same cu.

This is a good microwave. It works. It is simple to use. And, it doesn’t take up any space on the counter.

Easy to install and functions work as outlined in description

Microwave is fine, it’s the stove top light that’s frustrating. It constantly blows out, and the lightbulbs aren’t cheap. AT ALL! It can be a bit annoying especially when you’re in the middle of cooking and the light goes out. So please be aware before purchasing this microwave that you will constantly have to purchase new lightbulbs. Other than that, microwave works just fine.

I bought this highly recommended GE microwave to replace my old, excellent GE microwave oven - it's great.

Everything was good except that the mounting holes on top changed. Two were one inch closer to the front and the third one by the power supply was missing.

Not Perfect for the space, we had a 36" Profile in the space, it has been discontinued, the one installed sticks out from the extenders and shows the black side panel. It works well but aesthetically not the best for my kitchen seen installed. I wish the sales person would have been nmore details on explaining it.

This microwave is amazing! So easy to install and works amazing. This is the best one I’ve ever owned. Even when opening the door you can tell it’s built very sturdy.it also hears food evenly and I love the melt function!

Love this microwave. Our other microwave was black the space was so dark, but now with the stainless steel you do not know it is there. The features are great and the inside is very roomy. Was very easy to install, the screw holes and brackets fit perfect with the one we removed. Shipped fast and curb side pick up was a breeze.

Easy install works 5 starts. Ordered as curbside pickup. Went extremely well. Used cell phone to let them know I was at curb side pick-up and took less tan 10 minutes to bring it out and they loaded into my pickup.

The previous microwave was on its last legs, so it was time to invest in a new one. Using research, affordability, and color choice, we picked the GE with auto-defrost feature. Turned out to be a good decision, and now with the matching dishwasher and stove, we are saving up for the refrigerator!

This microwave was inexpensive compared to others we looked at but has all the options we wanted and found in other more expensive microwaves. It works great and we are very happy with it.

This is a good microwave, fairly easy to install wall mounted with 2 people. It is a bit loud, and the reheat sensors are not quite right, the food is always too hot. But we are happy with it overall.
