The first one I bought I had to take back within a couple of weeks the second one they brought they had to take back within a week the third when they brought seems to be working but the front lights flicker call Dan Bestbuy said it was over a year old that I had a contact GE I didn’t bother

Purchased this microwave and learned that, even though I had owned the equivalent model with the exact same dimensions and even though I checked the dimensions against the Best Buy site, the hinge has been changed on this version. If you ever want to open the door to your microwave without damaging the cabinet next to it or having to open another cabinet door every time you use the microwave, see it in store and measure carefully.

It meets our needs. It I don’t like how cheap the handle is.

I purchased this microwave in June 2020 and it has stopped work. It appears that the magnetron has gone bad already. It worked fine for 4 years!

Our previous GE Microwave oven lasted many years so we decided to stick with GE. That was a mistake. I took a day off from work so it could be delivered/installed. Soon as the installer left I put a cup of tea in and hit beverage. The beeps that followed sounded different than our old unit. I looked at the display and it said sensor failure. The sensor is a feature we don't need and didn't want but with supply chain issues the available units had it. Now I have to take another day off from work to let GE come in and see the problem. I asked Paula at 800.432.2737 if the technician would have the parts necessary to repair it. The response was no. I guess I'll be taking a third day off from work for this GE piece of junk. I'm sticking with LG from now on. Haven't had an issue with my refrigerator, washer or dryer.

I really dislike this microwave. The buttons are difficult to push, it feels cheap, and because of the design, there is a metal "click" every time it turns on and off that sounds like something is wrong. It works, but i cant wait to replace it.

Microwave only lasted 2 years. It was manufactured in 2019 and delivered September 2019. The control panel shorted out and cost more, $298, for part than it did for the Microwave itself. I ended up buying a different model.

this is one of the worst microwaves u could ever buy. i bought the same unit in 2018 brand new an it went out in 2019. i bought another one in 2019 an guess what it went out in 2023 ge products are junk. i also bought the dishwasher an fridge in 2019 an they both had to be serviced. DO NOT BUY ANY GE PRODUCTS

Bought March 2021, its now march 2024 and it already stopped heating... Now have to replace, as repairing it costs the same... Horrible..

Over the range microwave is working beautiful so far. Hopefully it stays that way for a long time.

Build quality could be better. Door only lasted 3 years. The handle broke and the bottom frame cracked. Likely from the heat and constant open/closing. New door part is $300 which almost don’t make sense vs. buying a new one.

Microwave broke down in less than 2 years. Went dead on me. Was a short circuit with the keypad system and has been requested for replaced by my home warranty. This was my first shot at a GE product as I was hoping to have a mix of different brand appliances in my kitchen. At least helps me drop GE from my list for any future purchase.

The microwave is a perfect fit. Looks great and working well

No idea how widespread this issue is, but we had this model's predecessor and it crapped out after only 7 years. That seems like a short shelf life for an appliance, don't you think? Be careful of GE.
