Got this on a Memorial Day sale for a great deal, and I love it! Our old one was busted from previous owners so when we got this we were so excited. Wipes clean easily, the controls and buttons are nice, and it just looks good!

Works great. My only complaint is that you have to hit cook time and then the amount of time that you want to cook the food for if it is not a whole minute or 30 seconds. Otherwise it works fine and seems easy to clean.

Works very well, kinda loud, installation was pretty easy as this was a replacement for a previous GE unit, has an interesting “hidden” feature that I may have missed in the manual. tl;dr Purchased this unit to replace a previous GE over the range unit (spacemaker 1800XL). Internal and external dimensions were basically the same which made install easier. Once installed, the unit works very well. Noticed it was a bit louder than the previous unit, not a deal breaker, drowns out the noisy teenager asking if dinner is ready (lol). Really like the fact it no longer has the mechanized front vent, less functional failures. Darker interior is nice for appearance of cleanliness. Controls are responsive, vents strong. Now, something that I think was weird and maybe a “hidden/secret” feature of this unit: automatic ventilation? I haven’t looked through the manual, but the other night when I had a cooked meatloaf on the stove resting, the vents automatically kicked on. Not complaining, but took me by surprise. Overall, for the amount paid during the sale it is well worth it.

I bought this over the stove unit to replace my old failed GE microwave, due to same size to fit. It had a couple differences, as in a new bracket to hang it and had to drill a new hole in above cabinet due to relocated fastener in top of new unit. Otherwise, the new unit works fine with a few differences and improvements. Was able to hang new unit myself without help.

Great size, has all the features I needed, and fit perfectly on the previous bracket that was already installed. It was just what we needed, and super fast delivery.

So far, this microwave has been great. It is quiet and I love the ability to turn off the beeping sound. The popcorn button is my favorite because it never burns the popcorn like other microwaves I have had did. It cleans easily and looks great. No complaints so far!

This was a like for like replacement of a microwave. The old model for excellent and this updated version is excellent. Reliable, easy to use and even heating. Does what it supposed to. Easy to hang... Did it myself.

I am extremely please with this over the stove microwave . So easy to operate, well lit inside as is stove top which has two light settings. Easy to clean interior. Runs quietly and the installer provided by Best Buy was profession and cleaned up all the packaging plus hauled my old microwave away. I would buy this model again.

Works well. Very roomy. The only thing I don't like is the light is dim. It needs to be much brighter

When our previous GE Over the Range Microwave went out after 14 years of great service, we tried to find a similar replacement. After a week or so of not having any luck in our local stores, we were able to order one online through Best Buy. It arrived within a couple of days and was delivered to our kitchen. Being a previous home builder, the swap out was very easy but for having to relocate 2 holes and changing out the mounting bracket. It has a very clean look and works great. Looking forward to another 14 years of service.

Nice microwave to replace similar GE model from 10 years ago. Fairly quick and easy install. Works great. I purchased for a rental property so I am not personally on a regular basis. That’s the only reason for 4 stars.

Using this microwave without any problem, is a little loud when using the max in the fan ( quite understandable) heats pretty quick whatever we put in. Easy-to-use and to install as long as you are strong enough or use some techniques to get it install by yourself alone. Comes with every you need to get it install

Glad to see that GE continues to offer this footprint for an over the range microwave. Most newer models are too deep or too tall when retrofitting older '60s homes. Improved buttons over previous models due to increased contrast on button labels and more responsive touch so you don't need to press as hard. Fan noise is acceptable but not whisper quiet. Under light is not very bright but replaceable with higher lumen LED bulb.

Microwave works well, it was fairly easy to install. I have had for a few months with no issue so far.

After shopping for an over the range microwave at another store, my wife and I came to Best Buy. After talking with Tim in the Appliance Section, we knew we were in the right place, as Tim's professionalism and product knowledge were far superior to our experience at the other store we had shopped at earlier in the day. We ended up buying the GE 1.9 cubic foot over the range microwave with sensor cooking, as it offered the best value for the product features we were looking for. We've now had our new GE microwave for 3 weeks and are very pleased. So far we have used it primarily to reheat plates of food and cups of soup. In our old microwave reheated plates of food and cups of soup sometimes came out too hot to eat. However, the food plates and cups of soups we have reheated in our new GE microwave have all come out perfect. It also seems easy to clean.
