This little powerful ac saved me from these recent scorching hot California days!! This by far has to be one of my best purchases that I made at Best Buy!! This ac gets super cold and can chill down an additional room as well, as long as it’s within close proximity. I was able to snag this ac before the price increased; however, definitely worth the investment if you don’t have central air. Don’t think about it, Go buy it, you will thank me later!

Ac is still in great condition and its been over a year that i bought this. Still cools the whole room at the temperature you want very nice , i think the only thing i keep hearing is the water from inside idk if its because i have to clean the filter again or throw the water out but other than that i love how it cools my room in this summer! Its a good price if you asking. The control also is very helpful.

Great little a/c unit that cools a larger area than priced. Very pleased. I haven't used it long enough to see it's effect on my electric bill, but it's the second new GE a/c unit I've purchased and I can say the first one is incredibly efficient.

It’s as advertised! It keeps the room cool. The “ECO” feature works well. The first downside I’m noticing is the “filter” is already dirty after just a few weeks in both units purchased. When the “ECO” feature is used, it takes a little longer for the clean filter light to come on.

Cools the bedroom very well. Easy to put in the window. Not heavy at all. Lovehaving a remote!

This small, easy to install, air conditioner has proved to be a great purchase. I could not spend too much money when I decided to purchase an air conditioner for a small living room. This air conditioner has managed to keep the room comfortable and even reduce the humidity throughout my lower level throughout the most recent heat wave. I have only had this air conditioner for a month but in my opinion it was well worth the money spent.

I love this air conditioner! If you’re looking for a quiet, lower powered air conditioner for a small bedroom, this is it! It’s exactly what I was looking for. When I say it’s quiet I mean compared to most of the models out there right now. So many loud ones now. This one is much like the 2 I bought years ago. And it has a remote!

I purchased this AC at Best Buy and it's very good. Im enjoying the cool breeze. I turned it on every night and I'm sleeping so good feeling the cold air. I love the color and it has a remote to set the AC at what ever temperature you want. Its amazing.

I like this AC. Clean look.. Good price It doesn't make a medium-small room totally cold but it cools it enough. It is meant for a pretty small room like it says. You can use it in a medium sized room, but it won't be that cold. Would go for 6000 BTU for medium-small sized room. We have this 5000 BTU in a bedroom around 10 x 15 and its cool enough but not super cool. Although it is pretty close to bed so in a way that is good so that we don't get too cold. We have a 5000 in a small office (half the size of bedroom) and it is plenty cool. This is my first year using 5000 BTU so can't attest to longevity. Installing it wasn't a problem. Easy, simple directions. I don't really have it slanted much but it still seems to work fine. remote control is nice altho the remote from last year was more clear. I will say the box is notably lighter/smaller than 6000 BTU so that was a relief in terms of transporting it.

I bought this ac just knowing it would be used in bedroom. No issues after running for over a month. It’s not load and easy to operate. Remote has oversized buttons, which is funny. Wished the remote buttons glowed in the dark.

Absolutely perfect for a typical bedroom. Easy to assemble, easy to install and easy to operate. The economy feature means the unit only runs when it needs to return the room to a particular temperature, rather than running all the time -- great way to save money. I think this unit is less noisy than comparable units I've owned. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Got this window AC during a promotion period. It is a great budget friendly unit, perfect for a bedroom while working from home. The product was easy to setup and has a remote control. In addition, it appears to detect when the room is at the temperature and will stop to save energy. Overall very satisfied with this purchase and definitely recommend.

Takes about 10 minutes on high to cool a room 11×15. Only used for a few weeks. Good for the money though. Installation was easy peasy. The weather is cooling now, so....

Just what was needed for a small room. Quiet and works great!!

Been a few years since I last bought a similar unit for the sunroom. Apparently advances have been made. This GE unit is doing a great job with a room slightly larger than its rated max. Came with everything you need for installation but the tools. 5-stars. Value, easy install, great performance.
