And I try to get service on it and GE says they don't have any service in this area and they had an offload it to a company out of Ohio that canceled the day that they were supposed to come so I'm really not happy

It is set at zero and is always near 26 degrees, way too high (checked with a thermometer placed inside). The high temp alarm goes off every six hours or so. It has always been right where it was installed by Best Buy, in our finished, conditioned basement so there is no excuse for this failure. Warranty is only one year. My parents have a freezer from my grandparents that still works at 50-60 years old so it’s I guess that says enough about how GE is making freezers now.

Waiting over a month for a new one after calling the day after delivery to report it not working properly. Not happy.
