The freezer is fabulous. We need to purchase more items to fill it!

Had to replace our previous freezer which only lasted 10 years in our garage. This unit seems more robust.

The control device did not work and had to be replaced. GE did a good job of replacing the failed part, but since it is pretty essential to controling the temperature, it is not what you would expect at all.

First freezer didn't freeze. Best Buy was great at sending me out another one quickly. Freezer is working great.

Using in my garage. Other than an issue with my garage wiring and GFCI, this freezer has been great and a perfect addition to our food storage needs and organization. I definitely prefer the upright model and it freezes wonderfully in my super hot Florida garage.

We bought the new freezer to replace a similar model that was about ten years old. The old one still worked but would freeze up more often that desired. The new one works very well and we like the outside control panel so we can verify the temp is what it needs to be. Plus, it has the alarm feature if the door is left open too long. So far so good!

My only complaint is the door on the freezer. It is very hard to open. I owned a GE freezer (almost the same style) for 20+ years and never had a problem with the door. This is the second one I ordered from Best Buy. The door on the first one was much more difficult to open. Not much improvement on the second one. If GE would read the buyer's complaints they will see many complaints about the door problem. This should be corrected.

Wonderful freezer for the garage. We almost bought the next smaller size, but this one is perfect for our needs. Taking advantage of food sale prices will help to offset the cost of this item in just a few years, while ensuring that we have sufficient food on hand. Best price we found too.

Ordered this freezer after the other one quit working completely took two weeks to come in and had it delivered no issues extra freezer love it.

Works great and fits in the space in the garage perfectly

So far very happy, only time will tell, i'm told all computer chip freezers don't have long life, this freezer replacing 45 yr old Sears Coldspot, may it rest in peace

This is a very nice, spacious and great freezer in our garage. It is a lot bigger than our other upright, great quality and exactly what we were looking for. I LOVE the settings on the outside of the door making it easier to know if the unit has power or a breaker flipped. Highly recommend.
