My new GE French Door 'fridge' is a handsome addition but I have one issue with it. The entire unit loudly hums and vibrates repeatedly through the day and night! Can this problem be remedied? Otherwise, I enjoy the storage options and multi-leveled lighting that brings the interior to life.

Not as much fridge space as i thought. Freezer is small. You must stack items, which makes it hard to get to. Squealing noise every half hour. Not sure what that is. Water dispenser can be difficult for kids or elderly.

Nice sleek design with enough room. It makes lots of ice quickly. I love the inside water filteration system rather than in the door. Perfect counter depth size. The slate look is very nice looking

We have a small kitchen and limited space due to site built counters in a 50+ year old house. There were certain features we wanted like the water dispenser, but we can't fit a normal frig with those features in our space. This one works perfectly. It's not for a big family, and we would probably not have enough freezer space if we didn't have a separate freezer. However, it works great. Love the water filter, ice maker, adjustable door shelves, three drawers, and the ability to open the doors fully and wipe it out in our limited space. It's a compact version of what we would want if we had more space.

We've had this fridge for about 10 months and all is well. The only problem we have had is that the handle on the freezer door has already unattached on one side. Super annoying and frustrating with just having the refrigerator for less than a year

A very good and well built refrigerator but GE is known for quality. Just a couple of things that we have seen thats a buyer beware for this unit. First is the capacity. Being counter depth be ready that you are gonna have a smaller fridge. The freezer is deceptively small so be aware of that. Second is that it tends to be extremely cold in the upper section of the refrigerator. We have found Gatorades and bottles of waters frozen. Granted you can adjust the temperature but were guessing that whatever is closest to the top will be really cold or freeze. I would give it five stars if it wasn't for these two complaints. All in all its a very good refrigerator. We have had it for a year and we haven't had any issues.

Love the look of the fridge, color is nice. Fridge part has plenty of space. Water dispenser is inside the fridge, easy access for changing the water filter. Ice tray in the freezer. Freezer is quite small, can’t fit very much in the freezer. I wanted to get the next size up, but it wouldn’t have fit through my doorways. Overall, it’s been a great purchase so far.

I am very happy with my 18.6 cubit foot refrigerator by GE. For a smaller refrigerator, I am impressed with the amount of space. And since many refrigerators aren't counter depth, I am very happy that this one is. I am disappointed in the size of the freezer though. And when I went to attach the handles to the doors, I found that the freezer handle won't stay on, so I guess I'll have to get a new part for that. But I really like the handy water access on the inside of the refrigerator. GE appliances have worked well for me and I hope they continue to put quality and care into their appliances.

Great refrigerator. Needed one that would fit a certain space, and this fit the bill. I love the finish and the surprising amount of space inside. The water filler inside is useful, and I like that it doesn't show on the outside. The freezer compartment is pretty small, but works pretty well. That would be my only drawback to this model.

Freezer is small. Refrigerator section has ample space. Temperature is consistent. The counter space depth was perfect. Was able to fit in my space with no problem.

Our old refrigerator grumbled, sounding more like an approaching helicopter than the quiet appliance it had been in its youth. We spent hours searching for a replacement before finally settling on a glistening, white GE with French Doors to highlight our kitchen. It changed the appearance of the place and helped us to decide to go ahead and replace the ageing range too for an added improvement.

It looks nice keeps stuff cold. Other than that it features plastic drawers that bind and move unevenly causing problems to open/close them. The freezer door also has issues for the same reason. The water dispenser inside the fridge is in a strange location and is hard dispense at times. The interior space was far smaller than was hoping but I was limited to a counter depth model. This GE replaced a fridge from the 70's that functioned just fine but was cosmetically out of date and didn't have an ice maker...all the drawers and doors worked perfectly, interior was far larger and took up less of a foot print.

I am finding this refrigerator to be noisy. There are 2 cooling zones; one on top and the other being the freezer. Each zone has a cooling fan. The cooling fan for the freezer makes a loud humming sound. I have had this refrigerator for 10 days and am giving it a burn-in period in hopes that the noise will disappear. If the noise continues the refrigerator will be returned. I am also finding this refrigerator doesn't have much storage area in both zones, which just goes with the territory of having french doors. Wish that I could get a larger refrigerator but the larger ones won't fit in the allocated space in my kitchen.

I loved the size and quality, the interior design was quite ergonomic and just what I needed for the space in my apartment.

I like the fridge but the water dispenser is awful. Its in an awkward place and you cant set the cup down and fill it because it shoots to far toward the drawer. Definitely need to come up with a better dispenser.

Excellent temp control, very quiet, great lighting, There is not quite enough height in lower door shelves to store large soft drink bottles. The door closure sytem is rather clever. We call her "Sister Slate".

Fit is space available perfectly. All features as advertised. Would like actual temperature readings and not just settings.

I've had the refrigerator for only two months and it started frosting up in the fresh food section. Glad I have Geek Squad. They had to order a part, that didn't come in on the day they said. Had to reschedule for 11/4. Not really happy that the unit had to be fixed almost right out of the box. Can't recommend it yet. Have to see if this new part will fix the issue.

I replaced my GE Profile with this model. It is a great color. I knew it would be smaller and not quite the quality of the Profile, but I do love the way it fits in my kitchen. I frustratingly am about one inch short of the standard width space for many other models, but this fits and looks great. Freezer space very limited.
