Took 2 months to get a exchange and that one came in with a dent in the side. Refrigerator is not quiet. Will never purchase a Refrigerator from best buy!

Received 2 different units with the same problem. The installer of the Frigidaire replacement said every GE has installed the levelers vent.

Buy this one instead of the Whirlpool

I had the Whirlpool one delivered and was very disappointed in it upon arrival. It is shoddily built and ended up being extremely noisy. It buzzes and hums about 75% of the time. I could hear it over my tv. I ended up returning it for this one and am much happier with the GE product. It is almost exactly the same but better made with sturdier drawers and shelves. It does not make anywhere near as much noise either. I have only had it for a day so here's hoping I am still happy with it much further down the road.

Most regular refrigerators stop staying cold as temps dip into the 50's, with the freezer failing 1st and food defrosting. I will find out how well it continues to function as winter temps begin to set in.

We've done all the proper maintenance and took great care of this appliance. It's obviously defective. It was poisoning us for 3 weeks. We didn't know what the smell was. It kept getting worse. Overbearing to where we had to unplug it. It was a sweet chemical smell. Out of warranty after 1 year!
