    Great microwave and easily pairs through the GE SmartHQ app to Alexa. The only downside is getting 2 defective units back to back. The first made a whining noise when locking, and the 2nd one sounds like the piece in the center is having difficulty turning the plate.

We recommend making sure that the turntable is properly seated, that you're using the Cook function instead of the Timer function, and that the turntable is placed upright.     I have some reservations about this microwave. I'm on the fence if I like it or not. You definitely need to read the manual to fully operate it. It's also quirky operating it. Sometimes I can press(for example)2 mins for cooking time. Normally it should start cooking on high for 2 minutes. At times after pressing 2 minutes it will ask you for Cooking temp. It will randomly fluctuate between the two and pressing buttons doesn't do anything. I have to cancel and start over. One other annoying thing is using verbal commands to start cooking. You can have Alexa or Google to start the microwave. If the door has been close more than 5/6mins. then that function will no longer work. That’s very annoying. Hopefully one of the updates will fix this problem.
