Best Buy agreed to replace it, but delivery arrived with no installation—despite me paying for it. I called back to reschedule, they assure installation was included this time but once again it was not. Extremely frustrated. Can someone please call me?

Fix - keep the setting on "Bulky" to properly fill the tub. Dryer has the lint catcher in the door, dumb place to put it. So you have to remove the cover over the lint catcher, then remove the lint catcher, an additional step one could do without. There is no buzzer for signaling the end of cycle for either the washer or dryer so you have to stay close and check them frequently. No light inside the dryer. This feels like the cheapest unit GE makes, too bad they don't reflect that in the price!! Had I known, would have spent a few more bucks and bought something a little more elevated.

Posted .We can understand how upsetting it can be when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share this with our engineering and design teams. It is true that the Bulky cycle will give you the most water for the cycle and the Deep Rinse/2nd Rinse will give you the best wash performance, even if you aren't using a softener. This model has a one speed motor, and the spin speed is the same across loads and fabrics. The Delicates is same speed as Cottons / Permanent Press, but with a softer agitation pattern. It reverses agitation direction less often (less strokes per minute) and turns in a smaller arc before reversing. It is our hope that the more you use your laundry center the more you will like it.

Best washer I ever bought!

This washer cleans my clothes better and my clothes smell so refreshing too! My dryer is the best! This heat front load waning and less maintenance and less problems to worry about too. When I mentioned front load dryers,I was referring to glass front type of washers.
