It is pretty generic looking so if your looking for something that is sitting out and you care about how things look, there are other more interesting options (Smeg) but this it probably much cheaper.

The wife looked at me sideways when I broke out the box. I was rewarded with toast that was fairly evenly toasted. A satisfied hmm was heard from the wife as her slices ejected. Is it on par with the other devices, well not really. Did it outperform my expectation, yes.

I have had the same toaster for 2 years now. The toaster settings are fairly accurate. The wide slots are great for thicker breads, bagels, and English muffins. I highly recommend this product.
