Just what I needed

Does everything I need--toast , bagels, English muffins--except cheese topping on tuna melts (and a few minutes in the oven handles that.) Takes a little trial and adjust at first like anything new but simple to work with, looks good. Easy to handle crumb tray a plus. AND takes less scarce counter space than a new toaster oven. I'm happy.

The wife looked at me sideways when I broke out the box. I was rewarded with toast that was fairly evenly toasted. A satisfied hmm was heard from the wife as her slices ejected. Is it on par with the other devices, well not really. Did it outperform my expectation, yes.

It is pretty generic looking so if your looking for something that is sitting out and you care about how things look, there are other more interesting options (Smeg) but this it probably much cheaper.
