    It makes a very loud grinding sound and Ge service can’t come for 2 weeks and are trying to imply in may be normal. My daughter has the same one and it does not make this sound. It is so loud that when it makes this noise we have to put close captioning on the TV or blast the sound.

    So far I'm very happy with my GE Refrigerator. It was suggested that I put the milk on the door - Extra large compartments are available. I have always understood that milk will last longer if stored in the refrigerator rather than the door. Boy do those compartment hold lots of other things.

    Works great. Always love GE products! We tried Samsung, BIG MISTAKE! Only had problems with it. Had the ice machine fixed three times. Fourth time we had to say enough!
