What a difference. Having the bottom freezer makes the refrigerator much more user friendly. I highly recommend it.

75 decibel freezer noise

It’s loud amd has a high pitched sound that hear downstairs. We have requested a replacement - hope it isn’t normal noise, it’s soooo annoying. Wish I could upload my video :(

The apartment did not have room for a bigger size so it was difficult to find appropriate size. This bottom freezer is so much more convenient than freezer on the top.

Repair man told me to just buy a new fridge because these fail all the time, quickly, and it would cost 60% of the purchase cost to replace the compressor. Apparently GE sold their appliance division and nothing is even made by GE anymore. STAY AWAY.
