Noisy thing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a review of our new freezer manufactured by GE. Model GE® 21.3 Cu. Ft. Frost-Free Upright FreezerFUF21DLRWW. Purchased the freezer due to the old one gave out. After reading reviews we chose this GE freezer. After receiving it it was noisy. And when I say noisy it measures at 80Db. The is as loud as a garbage disposal or a vacuum cleaner running. We had it out in the garage next to the adjoining wall of the house but the noise was too loud and had to move it. After a week we called for service due to the noise and when the repair man came out he checked and called a engineer about our concerns. We were told that the noise level was OK. So I guess having a garbage disposal running on and off through out the day was OK for GE. If I had a chance I would buy another due to the noise. I wish I could add a sound bite to this so that everyone can hear how loud this is. Just wondering if any one has the a solution to this noisy freezer. Received a message from GE and basically was told that this is normal for the freezer. So having a garbage disposal running on and off through the day is OK to them. I would not buy a GE product again.

Door doesn't close
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Door starts to close at it should but is pushed back about 6 inches away. Just got it delivered today and apparently the delivery guy cannot read the directions to installer. #5 Adjust leveling feet so that door swings shut from 45° position. If he had checked that he would have seen the problem.
