Overall, delighted with our purchase. Only design challenge we've discovered is the occasional dropping of small pieces of ice from the ice machine inside of the freezer compartment.

All have been great, which is why I continue to purchase it. The water line is a little noisy, but it has become background noise.

Had a larger 20 year old side by side that was on it's last leg. I worried about the stainless steel fingerprints but not with the refrigerator. First day it was a bit loud while it cooled down but afterwards is has been fairly quiet. Very happy with my purchase!

The 21.8 cu ft is perfect size for us, it is easy to reconfigure the shelves when necessary, and there is so much light in both compartments! We hope this one lasts 22+ years like our last GE side by side!

She likes that it has all the look of a modern fridge while still being easy for her to use. This was the nicest non-high tech fridge available.

The shelves are adjustable but don't lock reliably in the fridge compartment. ALSO - this fridge forces you to buy a GE water filter /w special RFID tag every six month. That's right $100/year for water filters - no generic filters allowed by the fridge's computer.
