Fits perfectly in my condo unit I just moved into. Delivery people did a great job of moving it up the stairs. Very spacious interior.

I’d rate 4 out of 5, b/c doors do not stay even. Men have come twice to fix, but right door slips down again.

Great fridge for the price range. Shelves are adjustable which is helpful. Lighted ice dispenser is a plus.

This model has Many problems in the review of the people i changed this item 2 times and coming with the same problem rear weells can not ajust and came dented

Just received this new 2019 GE refrigerator to replace 2005 GE Profile. Been working great after 2 weeks of ownership. We chose this model b/c its much less money than the Profile version and found the only differences btw both was slide-in shelves and humidity controls on the drawers. All else seems the same and we saved $1K by going with this model. BestBuy did a great job of delivering the new unit and removing the old one + connecting the water line. This stainless steel model has showcase lighting and is fingerprint resistant. So far its keeping things cold, fits our space perfectly and looks great.

When our fridge from the 90s decided it was no longer for this world, this fridge was the best option! I'm glad I checked the dimensions though, as we definitely needed the counter-depth size. The fridge also just *barely* fit into the space of our previous fridge. It's quite snug. But it cools just fine! We keep a thermometer in the fridge side and it remains in the refrigeration temperatures. We also appreciate having the crushed ice and water feature again, though I've heard the replacement filters are quite expensive. We'll cross that bridge when we get there. We're just happy to have cold groceries again!

So far working great. Water is a little loud with filling, but works fine you just hear the water click on and off. Ice maker keeps up with demand. Love the look and overall design. Stainless front is easy to clean and stays clean. Shelves are good and easy to move. The ice bucket is a little hard to replace but once you get the hang of it it is fine. The lights inside are such an improvement to my old fridge. I will say I feel the interior space is a bit smaller than the regular depth fridge, But if having counter depth is important this one is a great choice.

Great fridge. we actually returned the Whirlpool fridge and bought this instead. This fridge is quieter. has better storage, sturdier shelving, and the ice machine does not spill ice on the floor. We recommend this one over the whirlpool side by side.

Fridge slightly less space than old GE profile model of virtually identical outer shell size it is replacing. It is nice and quiet and love the bright led lights. Regarding the service from Best Buy it was a very good and fast delivery and installation and removal of old fridge. I had a small issue with a part getting broken and Best Buy geek squad was there to support me and that’s why I chose Best Buy. They stand behind what they sell better than most other merchants. Thank you Best Buy this will not be my last purchase with your company.

Overall so far (3 weeks in), this has functioned well, with exception of the ice and water feature on the door. It is placed in a way that both ice and water come out at an angle and we have to carefully position a glass (especially a smaller or narrow glass) so that both don’t end up overshooting the glass and ending up on the floor and trickling down the front of the fridge. This was not an issue with our previous refrigerator. No issues with the adjustable shelves and storage. This a counter depth fridge but we don’t feel like we’ve lost any storage space in the small downsize from our last fridge. Also, the Best Buy delivery techs were great - friendly, respectful and helpful.

Overall an excellent side by side. It is a tad bit louder but not horrible. It produces a very good amount of ice but it would be nice if there was an extra ice function like we had on our last refrigerator freezer which was a lemon Frigidaire (do not buy that brand, their product is bad and warranty service is even worse.) The freezer side is a little snug but other than large things like frozen pizzas it accomodates what we need. We would definitely buy this model again as it has a decent amount of storage for our space which can only hold a counter depth unit.

THIS FRIDGE IS SMAL.LER THAN I HAD WHICH IS GOOD LOADED WITH SHELVING SO DIFFERENT ITEMS CAN BE KEPT TOGETHER PLUIS 4OR 5 DRAWERS ,HUMIDITY DRAWER GOOD 4 SALADS + I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE WHOLE UNITY FROM TOP 2 BOTTOM, EASY 2 GET INTO ALSO AND THE ICE /WATER/CRUSHED OR CUBES ON DOOR EXCELLENT, PREVIOUS REPAIR MAN SAID BUY GE

Amazing Side by Side Counter-Depth Refrigerator- Stainless Steel purchased several weeks ago and I am very proud. Features are : Ice maker with off/on switch, Depth allows you so much space inside. Adjustable shelves allow you more flexibility, Door shelves are deeper allowing you more room to organize, Lighting is and excellent allow you to see from every angle. Alarm if the door is left Open Great!!!!! Price was very affordable.

Our last fridge had little things that annoyed us, so this time around we made sure to find one that didn’t have all those little annoyances. 1. Ice maker - ice was always getting jammed up. This fridge has yet to do that and we’ve had it for about a month now. 2. The brackets that held the shelves in the freezer couldn’t hold the weight of the stuff on the shelves and would make the shelves sag. This freezer has built in rails so the shelves will never sag. 3. Our last fridge had all these nice displays but they always burnt out. We had them replaced twice. Never really used them anyways, but this fridge has basically only what we need...ice, crushed ice, and water. And then when you want to set the temp, that display comes up. I would recommend this fridge no problem. We did go from a normal depth to this counter depth, so that is about the only thing that took some getting used to because we had to arrange things a little differently but still plenty of space.

We purchased this refrigerator about two months ago. We needed counter depth, affordable and quiet. It meets all three requirements.

It's been few weeks sensed we got our new fridge and so far so good. It took a little getting used to. Our old one was with us for 30+ years. Also a GE! The new one is counter deep, which is better for space and flow of foot traffic thru our kitchen. I did order an extra bin for the fridge side door. But other wise there is plenty of room. Compared to my old one, I like the large covered butter area on the door and the cold cuts/cheese draw is also deeper! I like the LED lights too!!! It runs quiet! So hopefully it will last for 30+ years like it's old cousin! So far no regrets and very happy with our purchase!

We have just moved and as a result had to buy a new refrigerator. After reading all the reviews for all brands, we came to the conclusion that all other things appliances are no longer built to last a lifetime. We decided we would rather spend 1200 dollars instead of 4200 for something that was probably going to need to be replaced within the next 8 years. We picked this GE side by side because of the reviews and because of the price. The first model we received had a bent freezer door and because of that snow crystals started to form in the freezer after the first two days of our ownership. We called Best Buy and they agreed to bring out a new frig in about a week. The second one we got has been perfect. It is very quiet. It stays a constant temperature in the freezer and in the refrigerator. For the money we spent, we are very pleased and Best Buy did the right thing by switching out our refrigerator with no questions asked. We think we were smart to buy this particular refrigerator! If the first one they delivered had not been damaged, I woul give it 4 or 5 stars.
