Purchased this to replace exact model from 2015 that was flood damaged after hurricane in Sept. In the specs it is listed at 69.5 inches high…. But that is the height of the box…the doors have been changed and are 71 1/2 inches tall….blocking the over fridge cabinet doors which clear the hinge mechanism, but not the extra inch over the hinge that was not on the earlier version. I have a cabinet guy coming to trim the doors….

This frig has surprising capacity for its size. It's very well designed. It's beautiful and classy. I highly recommend it.

Although I haven't owned mine for very long, I've had absolutely zero problems with this refrigerator. I can't attest to the water dispenser portion as I don't have it hooked up at the moment but the ice bucket can be filled manually and it will dispense ice as designed. Make sure the ice maker switch is set to the OFF position to avoid inadvertently burning out the motor. I've read some other reviews complaining about noise or excessive freezing/ice crystals and that sort of thing but I have encountered no such issues. It runs quietly, looks great, and the Best Buy personnel who installed it took their time to explain the operation and other details. They were VERY professional as well. The refrigerator was well packed, with the plastic protective coating in place and everything wrapped tight as drum. I personally have no problems with unwrapping the shelves and placing them where I need them to be. That way I know all the parts are there with nothing missing. The refrigerator should be allowed to run until it achieves its optimal temperature before adding food/drinks to it (usually for a solid 24 hours). That way it doesn't have to struggle trying to get to the optimal temperature while simultaneously trying to cool/freeze food and drinks. In conclusion, great quality refrigerator, professional installation, satisfied with purchase!

We love counter depth refrigerators and the Slate color/finish on this is wonderful. Nice features and the Geek Squad did a great job on delivery and install, carried the old refer out rather than dollying it. Much appreciated.

We've only had this GE side by side refrigerator for 16 days, but so far I can say that we love it and have had no problems at all. It's beautiful in Slate, and I love all the interior lights in both fresh and freezer sides. The fridge has more than enough storage for us, and the count-depth dimensions allow it to fit perfectly into our kitchen cabinetry. We've always had GE appliances in our many homes over the years. In fact the Almond colored, GE side by side fridge that this new one has replaced was in our house when we bought it 6 years ago, at that time the fridge was already 26 years old! AND it was working just fine until about 3 months ago when it started to randomly freeze items on the fresh food side without rhyme or reason, it was definitely time to replace it rather than try to have it repaired. I guess that's a testament of GE quality. I just hope this new side by side lasts equally as long without any problems.

Spacious for a counter depth refrigerator. Easy to install and level with adjustable front feet.

So far....love our new fridge! The slate stainless is soft and perfect for our small kitchen....and it is quite quiet. So nice!

Lots of internal organization options, easy set-up & use. Perfect size for my household, but may be on the smaller side for larger families/people who cram their fridges.

Fridge is very nice, it’s for a second home and I like the long lines of the doors instead of ones with multiple drawers which I don’t need at this point. The finishes nice does not fingerprint and GE refrigerators are very good quality

This refrigerator is gorgeous. It’s easy to use and powerful. We’re glad we bought it. We of course use it all the time. It’s holding up great and it’s a energy saver!

After our first one didn’t work had malfunctioned the two week wait for another one was worth it love the new one

Issues during installation included dripping/leaky water dispenser, tripped breaker 6 times in 2 weeks, and damaged wood floors. Now that we have resolved the first 2 the fridge is doing ok. The floors cannot be repaired, boards will have to be replaced.

The refrigerator itself is nice the slate finish shows oil from your skin if you have something on your hand that sticks to it terrible finish would never recommend for a client ever again

NO QUALITY CONTROL! We bought this refrigerator and waited 3 months for delivery. The water and ice dispenser has never worked properly. We are now told we will have to wait 2months for the replacement parts. Also, the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer areas has been erratic.

It was very hard to find what would fit in our space, so I was so thankful that the only one that would fit was this refrigerator. We have the larger, 27 cubic foot French door version…so this is a humble frig compared to it…but for a vacation home we are very pleased. Love our GE slate appliances.
