We are pleased with the new refrigerator and I would have posted 4.5 stars but the system didn’t have a way to do that.

We purchased the refrigerator for a rental unit. The water dispenser and ice maker work great. As a counter depth refrigerator it is a perfect fit for the kitchen.

This is an excellent fridge. We first purchased an LG counter-depth fridge, which was really nice but featured a flawed door-hinge mechanism. This totally negated the purpose of a counter-depth fridge. This (GE) fridge has an excellent door-hinge mechanism; i.e., the doors swing forward without protruding sideways. Also, the water/ice dispenser is very nice. Only time will tell if it is durable.

I used to have a ‘freezer on top’ style fridge (also counter depth). It may just be because the storage is more vertical than horizontal, but it *feels* like less space even though both have specs of just under 22 cu ft of storage (fridge plus freezer). Have now had it for about a month. Ice/water dispenser works great. No problems keeping food cold. Haven’t had any fingerprint issues. In-door storage that can handle a gallon of milk is very convenient. Overall, a very nice fridge.

We've had the Ge side by side fridge for over a month and it is a very quiet fridge. Great lightning in the freezer area and the shelves are easy to arrange.

The product is great works just fine. The delivery guys were great. Got it hooked up and working in no time at all. Just happy with the delivery and its working good and quiet.

Works as one would expect. Food is cold, ice is frozen. I went from a refrigerator to a frig/freezer combo. I've lost frig. space but still get everything in. A bit cramped but I could not find just a fridge with a water/ice dispenser. The water is not as cold as I would have liked it but it is filtered. The ice maker crushes the ice into large chunks. It might be asking a bit much but, I would have liked the ice crusher to break the ice into smaller pieces.

Amazing amount of room for a counter depth unit. Great lighting on the inside and it runs much quieter than the Samsung it replaced. The only improvement I can think of is if it had back lit icons for ice/ water etc. If the family is watching a movie, you may have to turn on the kitchen light until you memorize which button operates which function. Ice maker works really fast on this one also. Made it through 11 people at Thanksgiving and never ran out of ice. Great unit so far.

We purchased this model due to the Counter Depth. We did not want to hassle with removing doors to get the bigger models in the house. You have to be creative and keep in mind when shopping that you don't have the depth and space the larger models have. I am only shopping for two, so that is not a problem for me. I would recommend this model to any households that have 2 or less persons.

This refrigerator is perfect for my needs. Very roomy and stores items comfortably: no shifting when opening and closing the doors. The freezer freezes rather quickly. My only wish is that the crushed ice could crush a tad smaller pieces: that preference. However, the ice, water dispenser works very well. The delivery and installation team was awesome too!

Love it! I was nervous reading the bad reviews but it is fairly quiet, great temp, and looks even better in person. I really wanted a French door model but this still looks just as great. I’ve had it for 4 months now in my new home and I have 0 complaints.

We like our new GE frig. It's reasonably quiet, holds food at the right temperature, has a good amount of space, excellent external water and ice function and is beautifully designed. The shelves are not meant to hold heavy pots and pans, but food containers work well. The freezer holds at zero degrees. The unit is a asthetically pleasing.

This model was a second choice but my first choice had an annoying problem. Within a week I had it replaced with the GE 21.8 cu. ft. side counter-depth. It looked nice with rounded edges but most important of all it is problem free. Everything is working. Enough shelf spaces in both ref and freezer. Though we use it in tandem with our old ref. Water dispensed is cool, ice is produced within the time promised, convenient in door touch controls. However menu in touch controls are not complete so you would manually turn on or off the ice dispenser. We accept this very minor inconvenience as this GE is trouble free so far.

Fantastic fridge. Love the design, features and it is fingerprint resistant--one less thing to clean! Overall outstanding product!!!

Very good design. The drawers keep everything organized. My produce is staying fresh much longer than my previous refrigerator. It runs very quietly. The only issue I see is that it doesnt produce ice very quickly. Luckily my family doesn't use a lot of ice, but it tends to run out after filling 5 glasses full.

This fridge is beautiful and and has completely updated my space. I’m switching over from all black appliances to stainless steel and I could not have chosen a better option. I never see fingerprints on the doors and the fridge holds enough food for about a week and a half for my husband and I. It was a little to tall for the space so we had to adjust the cabinets above so be sure to measure your space. Otherwise no complaints. It makes tons of ice and the water filtration a system works great.

This is a great refrigerator and is a very good value for this price. Everything works as expected. Some of the things we like the most are... 1) the side-by-side doors open and close flawlessly, with just the right amount of force needed. The doors also have dampers that prevent accidental slamming. Our expensive previous brand did not offer dampers. 2) the internal drawers also are a step-up from our previous brand - they are more sturdy and again have a nice touch-and-feel when opening and closing. 3) the internal temperatures have been very consistent 4) the touch pad on the freezer door is easy to use and we were able to quickly figure it out. The only negative we have found is that the noise of the motor is a little louder than our previous brand. However, we got used to it quickly, and it is not a problem.

This is a great fridge. Runs quiet. Nice look. Makes ice quickly. Water tastes good.

Well designed storage, quiet operation. Ice maker keeps up with our needs too.
