We needed to replace a panel-ready GE side-by-side that is no longer produced. No one makes free-standing panel-ready side-by-sides anymore. Panel-ready built-in refrigerator were more expensive and would require rebuilding a section of our kitchen. The sales-Team in the Saginaw store sent time to find us the specific details about each refrigerator because of our unique requirements. They set up an appointments with the Pacific Sales Appliances Department of Best Buy. The Pacific agent made an on-site visit and gave helpful suggestions and more options. We were able to find a refrigerator to accept our panels. We saved at least $7,500 and kept the appearance of our kitchen The refrigerator was delivered on time when promised. Great ! Now it’s so hard to get this kind of color, we were just tired of stainless steel they are much fragile, we are happy..

I’d probably like it …. IF THEY WOULD JUST DELIVER IT!!! Four delivery dates, 4 delays, and currently it’s “we’ll call you when we receive it from manufacturer”. They don’t know when. So Best Buy has my money - but I got no fridge and no idea when it will show up. How does Best Buy sell a product they don’t have in stock?

Perfect fit, beautiful finish. This GE refrigerator cooled down quickly after installation and runs very quietly. Water and ice dispensers work as expected. Door shelves are nicely sized and spaced. The only con - there should be more shelf slots or an additional bin in the fresh food side. There is a large gap (12") from the last shelf in the middle of the fridge to the first of 2 lower bins. This turns into wasted space. But, overall I'm pleased!

Bought this counter-depth fridge because it was on sale and fit my tricky kitchen footprint. Anytime you buy a counter-depth, you have to give up some sq footage inside. For this model, we wish the space was a little more usable. A small deli drawer would have been ideal. On the freezer side, it's cramped, and always a Tetris-style challenge to fit in what we want. Last note, some people complain. About the main refrigerator lighting not being bright enough. Doesn't really bother me.

I like my side by side, although kinda locked into the brand that I could get that would match want I wanted (side by side, in white, counter depth). It is ok, but the design with a couple of items could be changed. 1) the light in the refrig is huge! takes up too much space on top shelf 2) If you want to shut off the ice maker, there is no switch. You have to pull a cover off to do that 3) the water filter. They are very $$$$$$ and lots of complaints about issues with them not working. I ordered one, and no matter how many times I put it in, the red light comes on with a error message.

Cons: There are not as many side guides for the shelves as I would want (to adjust the shelf heights). We had saved a shelf from our old GE Profile, so we have an extra shelf to hold short items, such as yogurts & berry boxes. Pros: The white is pretty. This model fits the space, like our old GE Profile (discontinued line). The bins are easy to open.

Small counter depth matches my new GE appliances perfectly. The fridge space is good, but the freezer side is a little tight. We had a 22cubic foot KitchenAid previously, and the freezer on the GE feels much smaller.

Hard to find a white side by side counter depth refrigerator, so I was happy to find this GE that matched my other appliances. It had to be ordered so it took more than a month to receive, but it came on the date promised. So far I'm happy with it. My only complaint is the rather large light over the top shelf. While the light is nice, it sticks down far enough to prevent putting taller objects in the middle of the shelf. Not a big problem, but maybe could be improved.

great fridge. has a sleek look and plenty of space. easy to set up and put together. love that it beeps if the door is left open. I just wish the freezer side shelves were adjustable.

It works well and I really like how it shows the freezer and fridge temp on the display panel. Ice maker works well and you can turn it on or off from the outside panel. It has 3 drawers which works well with the amount of produce we consume. Lighting is fantastic. Cabinet depth looks great in the kitchen. Stainless steel does smudge. Would have preferred it in white. Othewise, like it a great deal. Occasionally some motor noise but for the most part it is quiet. Why the 4 stars? I have a hard time with perfection.

It replaces our 22 year old GE refrigerator that we purchased while building our home. It was a great frig and we think this one, which is very similar, will be just as satisfying.

I absolutely LOVE my new refrigerator. I had to wait a while for it cause it wasn’t available for a few months but it was worth the wait.

Love the look, runs quiet. Freezer doesn't have a lot of room

Love this refrigerator. The fridge is quite large. The freezer is smaller than my older one but is large enough for what I need to use it for. It holds temp very well and I like that with a push of a button I know what the temp is and how much life the water filter has left. Very pleased with purchase.

We were very happy to find this fridge as it met all our needs in a cabinet depth design. I would agree with other reviewers that there should be another light halfway down on the fridge side. Unfortunately our fridge leaked after it was installed and it was hard to discover as it was in a cabinet. We pulled it out and checked all the connections ensuring everything was tight just to have it leak again. We had GE come out and repair but it was very disappointing as it caused damage to our brand new hardwood floors in our renovated kitchen.

The fridge was exactly what we needed for our smaller space. Everything works really well. I wish it had a meat and cheese drawer and the water dispenser pad sometimes sticks. Otherwise, a pretty reliable appliance

Works well and keeps my food cool. Once a week I need to move it slightly so that it stops making an annoying vibrating noise.

I have had this refrigerator for about two months. I love the color and overall size. However, I do wish the freezer side was a bit larger. Since I moved my old refrigerator to the garage, It’s not much of an issue for me.

We like the refrigerator very much. We were disappointed that it did not have a built in snack drawer that is in most refrigerators. We were limited to size and color for a new frig. This was the only one that fit the requirements.
