The refrigerator is mediocre with a poor seal and the door doesn’t close easily. The back is dented and it’s not cold enough even in the coldest setting. But the worst part was dealing with Best Buy customer service and delivery people. Going to report to BBB because I was told I’d be getting a brand new fridge for the damages but dude came in and just put in a new door. Terrible experience

The freezer “freezes” and the refrigerator doesn’t fridge. The freezer gets “cold”. I said cold not freezing cold and the fridge at max cold doesn’t get close to the FEDERAL TEMPERATURE GUIDELINES OF 40’f.. so if you want to have food waste.. buy this fridge otherwise look elsewhere

It’s pretty low quality. It’s loud like other people mentioned, but I was willing to deal with that. But what pushes me over the edge is the freezer doesn’t seal tight sometimes, and when you close the fridge it pops open very slightly. So I have to remember to close the freezer every time I close the fridge, otherwise the inside of the freezer is slowly dripping water the next time I open it.

This refrigerator was delivered within a week and I couldn’t be happier! The fit was perfect and the guys that delivered it were respectful professional and quick! We were the last stop for the day and they still took the time to answer all of our questions and help remove all the plastic and install the handles. It was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had! Thank you Best Buy! Not noisy and cooled down in about 6 hours.

This Fridge if you can find it has an operating range of ~40-110 Degrees F. There are very few fridges that say they can operate under 54 degrees F without spending $$$$. I have put this in our outdoor covered patio where it does not get direct sunlight (the manual states it should not be in direct sun). Like our other outdoor mini fridge, we will Turn it off come the winter months when the overnight lows start to hit 40 degrees F. If you forget to turn it off, the fridge section might freeze the foods. So far, it is working great. They could have added a light in the freezer section.

I love love my new GE top freezer, bottom refrigerator. It’s roomy and deep. The freezer holds meats, bread, vegetables, and fruit. The refrigerator has deep drawers, tall shelves for milk, juice, pip. The doors have great sized shelves too for biscuits, mayo, or you can put carton of juice on the door. I love the stainless steel, easy to clean exchangeable doors. You can have doors left or right. It’s easy to clean and it has rollers on it to pull to sweep clean behind or on sides.

Worked fine until the outside temperatures went above 75 degrees. I opened the freezer and it looked like a snowstorm. Frost on EVERYTHING!
The warranty repair service is two hours away, and it has been over 3 weeks now. The freezer seal is not flush, and temperature control out.
ALL the food in the freezer is ruined, and GE’s $150 inconvenience check will not even cover the items stored. This refrigerator replaced an over 40 year-old one that was still working.
NOT PLEASED with repair/warranty service provided. The refrigerator was delivered in late January…

The refrigerator did not work like 2 days and we called Best Buy because I bought the 3-year standard geek squad protection and Best buy told me that the refrigerator is no longer returnable after 2 months. We just have with the refrigerator 2 months and 7 days. We had to call to General Electric the fabricator because they have to come to repair it at home...I bought for nothing the protection, because Best buy says that the protection start covering after one year of the guarantee of General electric...that is not fair. Finally someone from general electric came and told us the refrigerator is ok, but the guy did a crack inside the refrigerator (see picture) so he just came to damage the refrigerator and do a bigger problem for us...so I do not buy again a refrigerator in best buy.

I’m not even sure if this thing is keeping my food cool. I’ve been meaning to call Best Buy to see what’s to be done about it but the holidays came and i have not had time. All of the parts did not come with the appliance rendering two holes in front of the doors and the refrigerator is quite noisy in my opinion. I should have spent the extra couple hundred dollars in bought the whirlpool.

So far my experience has been horrible with this product. It says garage rated 35-110. Anytime my garage gets above 80 it stops working. I have lost hundreds of dollars worth of food because of this product and nobody to reimburse me for my losses. My garage temp isn't reaching anything near 110. I keep those pops in there to see when it works. Garage is 77 and you can see they're liquid.

Don't be FOOLED like I was. Just because it says "GARAGE" doesn't mean it's going to work in cold weather. I purchased this refrigerator for my mother-in-law who lives in Wisconsin for her garage. Maybe I didn't do enough research, but once it gets to 36 degrees the freezer shuts down and stops cooling. She had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of meat and food. I find this use of "Garage" to be very misleading. I spoke to GE after the fact and said it states it in the manual. Well, who gets the manual before the purchase? So, unless you live in the South, where it never gets below 36 degrees, DO NOT BUY this refrigerator for your garage.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Had it for 3 weeks and the freezer sporadically hits 40 to 50 degrees. It can't be leveled appropriately because the back wheels are too small. Beyond frustrating after spending weeks cycling through reviews of every refrigerator before making this purchase. And I have total tech but can't do my replacement through them.
