Owned same model of this refrigerator bought about 5 years ago. Change to tray sizes on doors is an improvement. Freezer temperature control seems improved. Overall, pleased to find the changes in the design.

I like this refrigerator very much. The ice container could be bigger.

Not impressed at all. There are several things I do not like about this fridge. The “fingerprint resistant” finish shouldn’t even be advertised. You can clearly see fingerprints and smudges daily. There is no release mechanism on the freezer door handle. On fridges that my friends have you pull on the freezer drawer handle and it moves and sort of “unlocks” the freezer door. This door just has a handle and you have to really yank on it for the freezer to open. I can imagine this places a lot of stress on the handle itself and will eventually break. When the fridge arrived it had pink plastic wrapped all around it to protect the finish. The problem is that it seems like this plastic was applied and then the unit was assembled. It was impossible to get all the plastic out of the cracks because it looks like it’s glued in. I had to go around all edges with a razor blade to cut as much as I could off but there is still little bits of pink plastic stuck all around the edges of this fridge. But the WORST part by far is the water flow rate from the filter. It takes over five minutes to fill a glass of water. There is also no auto fill feature. I know it doesn’t sound like much but we all have bigger water bottles we fill and use throughout the day. It’s literally a 20-30 minute process to fill out water bottles. I am very disappointed in GE. I thought we were doing the right thing by paying for a good name brand but this fridge is trash for the three thousand dollars I paid for it.

We originally bought the LG version of this fridge, but it broke within 5 months. After fighting with LG customer service, we got our money back and in turn bought this fridge. It was counter-depth like we needed, was a little more expensive (which was disappointing since this has a few fewer features) and was immediately available. In other words, this was really our only option. We saw the reviews said it was noisy but figured it was not too bad. I am shocked at how noisy this fridge is. The LG was virtually silent and even my parent's 10-year-old fridge is quieter than this one. I keep thinking I will get used to it but it still really gets on my nerves. I think the hardest thing is the noise is not constant or the same. Sometimes a quiet hum, sometimes a louder hum. Sometimes a rattling sound or other times it is a louder sound, like an engine running. It is so disappointing that we paid more money for this fridge and have to live with the noise because we really had no other options. I would not recommend this if you have another option.

Beautiful Fridge! It’s spacious and I really love the ice maker and the water line. GE had great reviews on this fridge, I hope it last longer than my last fridge which was a LG.

Very happy with my new refrigerator. We like the french door. This refrigerator is fingerprint resistant, great. Have not noticed an increase in electricity, so kudos to that too.

If I could rate this a zero I would. What a piece of trash. I spent over $3,000 and at 2 years 11 months the compressor goes out! I do not have an extended warranty so I am stuck paying for a repair man. Two different people came out and said basically it is trash and to by a new one. The repair man was nice enough to call GE who basically told him "not our problem". When an expensive appliance is not even 3 years old I would expect GE to have a better answer then that. All my appliances are GE and I was hoping to keep matching appliances. But at this point I would rather change to another brand then deal with this TRASH!

Ice maker and water dispenser motor broken. This was not listed in damage description when shopping in store. The only thing listed was a small dent. Thank goodness I purchased extended coverage, scheduled for repair Nov 3. Hope all goes well.

As some reviews mention this fridge is a little loud. However I only notice it when my 3 children are sleeping and not running around the kitchen. Everything works nicely and the install team did a great job!

Good design and features, draws all work well, handy door compartments, nice style, ice maker throws ice so you must keep glass right up against opening so ice doesn't get on the floor. Direction booklet didn't accurately describe how to adjust the temperatures but we figured it out. Water hose was kinked but we unkinked it.

A great replacement for that Kenmore Elite dog we had.

Nice interior layout, easy to see and find contents of the refrigerator. Little noisier than I'd like but overall pretty good value for the price.

So far I love my new GE refrigerator. It is smaller than the last one but it fits flush in the space. I really like that. The other GE lasted 14 years, hopefully this one will be as good as the last one.

A good solid refrigerator however it lacks some storage space on the doors and the outside water/ice dispenser is not the most sophisticated. However we bought this GE based on reports they last longer. Our last frig was an LG and broke down within 5 years.

No complaints here. Counter depth fridge fits our kitchen perfectly with plenty of space inside.

This GE replaced a samsung and has already far exceeded its replacement. We have an upgraded model in our Ohio home and that's why I didn't give it a 5 star rating as it has fewer bells and whistles. I highly recommend this product.

This fridge is well made. And, does its job well. The very tall water and ice dispenser is a great feature. As is the dual condensers. The smudge-resistant surface is also a great feature. The ice maker is QUIET. And, it makes plenty of ice. We are very pleased with this purchase and would buy this fridge again without question.

I like my G.E. refrigerator very much. it fit in my space perfectly and looks very nice with my newly painted cabinets,but we're are hearing a rubbing sound everytime we open right side of door. we had a G.E. repair serviceman come out and he at the time seemed to have fixed the noise,but then two days later it started up again. He said he could fix it as it seemed the door was not even where they met. So I will be calling them again. I hope we can get this resolved as we have ordered a G.E. cooktop and oven and hope they will work properly.

Love the magnet closure. Very nice features. Roomy for being counter depth. Happy with our purchase.
