I was having issue after issue with my Samsung French door. The last straw was when the back panel froze again! After learning from several repairman that it's a known and common issue with Samsung refrigerators I knew that would be my last purchase from them In the appliances category. After much research I kept coming back to the GE French door and couldn't be happier. It cools beautifully, in fact it was at proper temperature within the first 20 minutes after set up. Also, by choosing this model where the water is available inside the door, you don't lose storage space inside, which is fantastic. The water & ice also taste terrific. Finally, am loving the slate color bc it looks great in the kitchen and cuts down on the smudge fest from having a stainless exterior. Highly recommended for a great looking, and spacious option.

This ref was delivered on time, and had to have the doors removed to get it into our 216 year old home. The installers were pleasant and did a great job installing it and replacing the doors. I love this ref and would do it again. My only disappointment is that I wanted it in Black and Black is no longer an option for some reason. But the color does not affect the products ability to produce. I love the inside water dispenser as it doesn't take up ref storage space and I love the ice bin again because it is not taking up space on the door. I love this ref.

Very nice, quite large, extremely quiet. I have been looking at this style for some time now. GE and Best Buy had the best price and quality fridge that I was looking for. Thank You !

We really like the way this fridge looks as well as the internal size of it. The real reason we wanted this one is because of the water dispenser being inside the fridge instead of in the door. The ice maker is quiet and loads you up with ice in a day but is easy to shut off until more is needed.

This Refrigerator has a lot of room. This is our first refrigerator that has a pull-out freezer feature, and we like it a lot. We are overall pleased with this refrigerator. There is a lot of storage in the doors. One minor complaint we have is that there is only one adjustable glass shelf to accommodate tall items. This is not a big deal as the doors have ample space for tall items. But if you want to put multiple tall items on a shelf - then you may end up wishing that GE put two adjustable glass shelves in this refrigerator instead of one. I understand that some versions of this refrigerator do come with more than one adjustable glass shelf. This refrigerator is very quiet, but note that we do not have an external water supply hooked up at this time - so we are not using the auto-ice maker. We love the slate finish which does not show any finger marks. Another minor complaint is that the fruit/vegetable pull-out doors are squeaky. There is probably an easy lubricant "fix" for this - but I have not yet contacted GE to inquire about this. But overall we are happy with this purchase. Best Buy was great on matching a competitor's discount. And the delivery was prompt and easy.

Noticeably quiet, it looks like it is well-built. Love the many inside lights. Very much like the way the French doors close. Others we had looked at didn't close as easily. These are like slow-closing hinges. The refrigerator section is just the right size. I believe I would buy it again.

Excellent refrigerator works really well with lots of storage for regular food but the freezer is rather small compared to the upright freezer we had in another model but as a whole we are happy especially with the amount of ice it can produce. As always we always purchase the Geek Squad 5 year warranty for their excellent service in cases where we need it.

Best fridge. We love it. It makes ice fast and has cold water from the filter. Lots of good space.

It works well and keeps food cool. The ice tray is convenient and the ice maker makes excellent ice. It lacks what I would call excellence in design and implementation. The vegetable bins are noisy when you open and close them. And to open the bin on the right you have to open BOTH French doors simultaneously letting twice as much refrigerated air escape as necessary. The upper drawer in the freezer clunks when you open and close it. The water dispenser is in an awkward location and it is difficult to fill a round pitcher with water. I am replacing it with a Whirlpool down the road.

I have purchased 3 new refrigerators in my adult life and this one is my favorite. I love the French door design. With the clear shelving and drawers GE uses, I can see everything in my refrigerator. There is not a chance that leftovers will get pushed to the back and forgotten about. There won’t be any out of sight out of mind mystery moldy items in this fridge. I love the freezer on the bottom design. I feel like it holds more than a freezer in a side by side model. It’s easy to organize as well with the two drawers in the freezer. I like having the ice maker dispense cubes into a bin in the freezer. I always have plenty of ice on hand (made from filtered water). These is a filtered water dispenser just inside the left French door. I don’t miss having water and ice dispensed externally at all. The front of this stainless steel fridge is magnetic. I mention that because my previous stainless steel fridge was not magnetic on the front, just the sides. I downsized a bit when I bought this 24.8 cubic foot. I think this size would be perfect for a family of 4 or for a couple of empty nesters. It is so well organized I don’t notice that it is smaller than my previous refrigerator. I would highly recommend purchasing this refrigerator! I’m very happy with my choice.

This fridge offers lots of space, everything easily accessible and visible. Great movable shelves (except in the doors) to adjust anytime depending on need. Freezer drawer is a lightweight and doesn't hold very much. But for daily use its perfect. I am however happy to have another freezer to keep more. Doors do not close automatically when fully opened and shelves in the doors are unmovable which makes them less practical.

It’s a bit smaller than the single door version we were trying to replace. Unfortunately, the French door portion interfered with our wall and I needed to return. Also, the way the door shuts is kind of weird. You need to be careful not to slam it, but it bounces open with a spring if you don’t get it closed all the way. It’s ok, it was nice on the inside and looks great on the outside. I would consider buying another one if the space in our kitchen was fixed to accommodate.

This GE model is a good choice if you have a smaller kitchen space and need a 33-inch-wide refrigerator.

Love this fridge, we went from a side by side to this and I couldn't be happier with our purchase. I have so much more flexibility with storage. The only downside to this fridge that I've found is that the water button on the inside of the fridge isn't quick use friendly and takes a while to fill a cup. Also, our ice maker in the bottom is constantly spitting a random ice cube underneath our drawers and they sometimes fall out (which my cat loves as he thinks it's ice hockey time). Still love this fridge as it fits our unconventional spacing we have and has run beautifully.

Replaced a 13 year old top freezer model. Style fits in perfectly with our other stainless steel appliances purchased in last 2 years. Love the top refrigerator feature. Both the freezer and refrigerator are colder than the one replaced.

Absolutely love this refrigerator. After doing a lot of research, I selected this particular one because it is the perfect size for one or two people. The layout inside is adjustable, the inside water dispenser so conveniently placed and I love all the drawers to separate fruits, vegetables, cheese, deli & breakfast items etc. Love the French door style, so it isn't always necessary to open both doors at once, allowing less cold air to escape. The upper slide in/out shelf is extremely practical. Slide it in to accommodate taller items as needed. The stainless steel finish on this model does not show any fingerprint marks at all and the entire fridge is so easy to keep clean. Love having the freezer on the bottom since I go in it a lot less than I do the upper section, which helps if you have back issues. The ice cube tray/bucket holds a large amount of cubes and stops dispensing upon full capacity. This fridge runs whisper-quiet, causing me to check if it was indeed working when I first got it! Can not say enough great things about this fridge; I just love it so much.
