We had this GE Dishwasher installed in April 2017. In October we noticed that it was leaking at the END of the wash cycle. Long story, short, after three service calls, we finally found out it was a leaking water valve that only leaked after the cycle was over. However, I've been told that Best Buy is replacing my hard wood floor because they kept saying it wasn't leaking when, actually, it was for about 6 weeks until the problem was found. Now it's costing me money and vacation time to have an entire floor ripped out and replaced...Don't buy this dishwasher. The piece that leaked was plastic and it cracked after only a few months. Good service by Best Buy though, supporting it's products.

Overall it's very good! I'm disappointed this model doesn't have a leak alarm; instead just a pan underneath. It's super quiet; which is great. Only downside is heated dry is not quite as dry as I would like when the cycle is done.

If I could give it zero stars, I would! This was my first GE major appliance purchase I ever made and I regret it. I had purchased this dishwasher in July 2017 and it has had three issues with it already! @@@@@@@@ Currently having it for 7 months) 2 issues dealt with the little motor on the bottom that made my water leak when not in use. Causing me to stop my hot water from running for two weeks in the kitchen! @@@@@@@@ Because 2 weeks was the earliest they can send to get repaired every time! @@@@@@@ I asked if the dishwasher has a defect that is causing it to get damaged in a matter of 6 months and if so, would I get a new one (not a defect) and they said well they have to wait until same part and same problem occurs THREE times in ONE year in order for them to change the unit. Then they went to tell me that it has been an occurring issue because they had been fixing many other ones recently. Wow, great to know that I am not the only one blowing my head off! Okay, so what if it happens for the third time right after the 12 months of owning it? It's basically my problem. Spent X amount of money on this to last me a measly year with problems. No wonder they keep sending a brochure for extended warranty on this since its obviously going to need major repairs. The third repair was the gasket that had broken and started leaking right under the door. So I couldn't use the dishwasher for 2 weeks until the next available repair slot was open. @@@@@@@@ At that point, it was no surprise of the waiting time frame for repair). It also leaves ugly markings on the stainless steel even after cleaning it with stainless steel cleaner/polisher. It's like skinny hairlike rust lines. I honestly use the dishwasher about 4-5 times a week so I don't use it heavily to cause major issues! I owned an older dishwasher that lasted me 6 years without a problem until it finally gave out. @@@@@@@@ Was included when I bought my house. @@@@@@@ This had been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with any major appliance. I don't believe I will ever make another purchase from them again, will never recommend and I don't want a new replacement of this model, I honestly just want my money back for a good working (unproblematic) dishwasher. This is the same review I had also posted on the GE appliance website since I registered the appliance there too.
