OK for the price, but needs shorter run times.

I have had no problems with the dishwasher itself. I have I had to install a new kitchen sink faucet. My previous faucet failed because it had a sprayer attachment. THERE IS A WARNING IN THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL, which I had seen ahead of time. Something to keep in mind when buying portable dishwashers.

Even glass and ceramics are still wet after the cycle. It doesn't make a difference if you crack the dishwasher open right when it's done or if you wait a couple hours. Also the controls are only visible when the door is closed. I just think they could have designed it better. Or at least I could have designed it better.

Posted .We'd like to address this issue you've had with drying. Your dishwasher uses Condensate Dry, which is an energy-efficient drying system. In a warm humid environment, condensation will form on cooler surfaces; at the end of a cycle, the tub walls will pull condensation to form on them rather than on the warm dishes, providing natural air drying. To help with the drying process, we recommend using a rinse agent, opening the door immediately after the Clean light comes on, and ensuring the water temperature is at least 120°F. This information is discussed on page 17 of the manual, which can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number, go to the product’s page and view the 'Owner Support' section. Your feedback regarding the drying and the controls will be shared with our product team for future consideration.

There’s three different modes for different types of dirty dishes. It’s very efficient gets things really clean and really hot and steamed up making it safe for people are sick killing germs.

The water hose came dented and it may fail at some time. Also the water hose does NOT fit into its compartment on the back of the dishwasher which may cause hose failure and also can catch on anyone walking past. Also, it does not have a drying element which all our previous dishwashers have had. All the indicator lights on the panel are hidden with the door closed. How can we know where in the cycle the dishwasher is working if we have to open the door and therefore stop the operation and the lights go out.

It is easy to move, it is also very quiet when it is running. Cleans the dishes very nicely. I believe it was a good product to purchase.

GE needs to redesign the outside of this appliance. Works excellent for cleaning dishes but don't like the controls as you can't see them when dishwasher is running.

I thought it was trash until I realized that the residue it was leaving everywhere was the soap I was using and not the washer. It's been working great until the last week. It's happened twice where it stops mid cycle and will not drain so we open it up to almost two inches of standing water in the bottom that we have to scoop out. We have someone coming out to look at it soon and since it's still under warranty we won't have to pay for it. I expect GE to have a better product than this.

Washes very well and is quiet

It cleans very well, is quiet when running. It does not dry as well as other dishwashers we have owned but it is easy to hookup, use and move out of the way when done.
