My complaint about the old one is that we basically had to wash the dishes in advance before putting them in. Unfortunately, this is not all that much better. Maybe I am just unrealistic about how clean a dishwasher can get things without pre-washing.

So far I have not been successful with the Geek squad to get the problem rectified. It has been three work days and they have not called me back despite me calling them daily. Will start calling again on Monday. Hope better luck this week.

Couldn't find another Maytag in Bisque so went with this GE. So far all is OK with cleaning dishes but the door makes a terrible squeaking noise when you open and close it. I cannot get rid of the squeak. No luck with 3 in 1 oil. Any suggestions?
