Same model number, but the new one is way lesser quality. The amount of features the new one has, like rack quality, interior space, sound dampening cover, adjustable feet, rubber trim dressings around the front, and positioning options, pales in comparison to the original design. GE really cheaped out and cut alot corners on the redesign of the same model number,that was a new release on the appliance showroom in 2017. Here we are in 2025, only 7 years later, but I had to special order this and it took Best Buy a month to get the order in. Very disappointing from many aspects.

Needs better mounting hardware.

It is a little louder than our previous unit, but not a problem. Hope it lasts as long as our previous one since the installers did not add 2 quarts of water to lubricate the seals as required by instructions.

Only small complaint is that it doesnt always completely dry everything, excluding dishes where water can pool up. Otherwise, I highly recommend this dishwasher.

Worst Best Buy experience in 20+ years as customer

Have been a long time customer and credit card holder for over 20 years. I had placed an order February 3 for a new GE dishwasher. Yeaterday, February 15th was pick up day. I picked up the dishwasher shortly after the store opened. Outside of box had no blemishes. Underloaded at home and removed current dishwasher. Then opened the new dishwasher box to find the door and dishwasher tub to have damage. The box itself had no damage so quality control didn’t notice the damage and packaged it. Returned to store almost an hour away. To get the same dishwasher reordered the delivery date was not until March 8th. I can’t wait 3 weeks to put a new dishwasher in. They had a similar dishwasher that could be shipped to us on Tuesday of next week but had to pay the difference in price. Plus $79.99 for shipping to our house. Why should I have to pay for an obvious problem at the factory. Not a happy Best Buy customer.
