The fridge is amazing love the stainless look. Love that the fridge is finger print proof

Ice maker can’t keep up with a small family. After 2 years, two days before Thanksgiving, geek squad had to come fix it. They also have to order parts that will be delivered at our home, see you in a week! But wait! The condenser went out too, it wasn’t discovered until I noticed the temperature was rising and my food was thawed. Did I mention the repairmen had just fixed the ice maker two hours earlier? They even noticed the ice forming along the back wall and the thawed food. Not a word except that we needed to give the ice maker a couple hours to start making ice. An awful lot of food had to be thrown out. Next day, all the ice on the wall is gone and we found that the seal is broken at the back. We know the repairmen are going to have to order something else before it’s maybe fixed. I’ve received all ordered parts, but Geek squad keeps canceling the appointment, oops, we thought a part was delayed, then after FIVE CALLS and rescheduled appointments, the scheduler indignantly insists they understand our frustration but, sorry, the first available day is now Thursday instead of Wednesday. Maybe I’ll have a refrigerator by Christmas. I want a new fridge, definitely don’t want a GE dud.

Very good quality for the price with great features

It did not take long at Best Buy to see which fridges fit in my space and were in my price range. The time to purchase was fast. The delivery team worked quickly, helped clean up and were knowledgeable. I'm very happy so far with this refrigerator and with all the individuals who helped make it happen.

We like the refrigerator it did have a dent in the front door and i am waiting for a check to make up for it. The delivery men where great and made taking out the old refrigerator and bringing in the new easy.

worked fine for 16 months and now it won't cool. 4 months out of warranty and i'm out $1400. Stay away from GE products - they appear to be made poorly.

I looked and looked for something decent that had good reviews from her and other sites. At first we were thinking of Samsung until I read the reviews on the ice maker issues. Then LG until I saw all the people have compressor issues. I wouldn't mind having a Whirlpool since it would match our other appliances but this GE refrigerator had more features that I was looking for such as- -Larger size that didn't stick out too much -Adjustable glass shelves -LED lighting -Large ice capacity -Reliability The large ice capacity was important since we like to fill up a small cooler and go places. Most of the other refrigerators have small ice compartments. So far its been a great appliance and no issues. Its quiet but you will here the ice fall when it has to some when the bin is empty. We also like the side by side models since its easier to find the frozen food you're looking for. It does have temp display on the front panel but it doesn't show you until you push the button to check or adjust temp. The stainless front seems to be fingerprint resistant but the handles are not. Oddly the handles match our Whirlpool appliances. All things considered we are happy with this model. Also, if you're weird like me and wanting this to match your other appliance brand, the GE front badge comes off and you can stick on your own badge. :)

I was hesitant to buy GE but learned they were bought out 3 years ago so it’s a whole new company-I purchased an extended warranty “in case”. This side by side is far nicer than my LG that died after only 4 years ( compressor) and half the price. LG did not repair nor replace my side by side but Best Buy will actually stand by the appliances they sell. This GE is quiet, shows no fingerprints on the exterior, offers 3 drawers for my perishable fruits, veggies, meats and I love the ability to move the shelves to accommodate tall beverages or fat melons.

It is comfortable for the things you have in a home. The bonus of water and ice at the door is great. Does not open repeatedly. It is spacious and has many divisions to accommodate everything without any problem. The day I went to Best Buy to purchase a refrigerator, the sales representative Julio M helped me and with his knowledge he answered all my questions and helped me make the decision to purchase it. The refrigerator has a capacity of 25.1 cubic feet, which means you have plenty of space to store food and drinks. The refrigerator has a fingerprint-resistant finish, making it easy to clean and always looking shiny. The refrigerator has glass shelves that extend from wall to wall, allowing for greater flexibility and organization of interior space. The refrigerator has LED lighting that makes it easy to see food and does not take up additional space. The refrigerator has three removable drawers with transparent fronts that provide the perfect environment to keep fruit and vegetables fresh and organized. In conclusion, this product seems to be a good buy.

Purchased this fridge after a part in my 10+ year old Kenmore (which we loved!) gave out, and it just made more sense to take the plunge on a new (and hopefully long-lasting) one. After probably too much research, we decided on this one, and we are happy we did so. We now have more space, better tasting ice and water (the filtered water jug now gets much less use,) pleasant lighting and more features than our previous fridge. It's also easy to keep clean. On to the delivery experience -- although we had a couple of hiccups with actually getting the fridge in place (first one had a few dents, etc.) Best Buy didn't disappoint in resolving. The delivery and Customer Service teams we worked with were very professional and made sure the end result was a very positive experience. Finally... we did purchase the 5 year Geek Squad Protection plan. For $50/year, it just made sense... yeah, we may never use it, however one issue will probably cost more to fix than the entire plan.

We research many days checking different brands and reviewed before We finally decided to buy this refrigerator. I bought this refrig a couple of weeks ago and so far so good. My kids used water and ice dispenser multiple times a day. I like that it had lots of dividers and room in the refrig and freezer. It is one of reason why I decided to buy this one. It seemed to have more space than my old one even though it is the same size but different brand. The delivery guys are wonderful. They called before they come and provide estimated time of arrival. They are very careful with the refrig since it barely fit my front door. They explained about throwing the first batch of ice n water, asked if I have any question, etc.

Great side by side! Ice maker works well and the bright lighting inside makes finding everything easy. Another big plus is it's quiet!! Adjustable shelving is a big help and it has a deli drawer...yes!

It’s no more loud than any other refrigerator- the doors actually close properly as compared to my 10 month old Whirlpool french door fridge that our builder installed in thr spec home we bought last year. That fridge shot out ice cubes as if they were going to be launched into space. Ice chips EVERYWHERE, but mostly on my floor & not in our cups! Not this GE side-by-side. Having the rounded plastic cover at the dispenser level, completely prevents that issue from being a regular problem.

Closest thing you can find to the Profile version. Honestly, even the inside look identical. I asked the sales person what’s the difference, and they told me the Profile gas better stainless and materials, but otherwise same fridge. Now, 2 days after install, it started leaking through the water dispenser. I scheduled a GE service, but after 2 more days before my appointment it stopped leaking so I cancelled the appointment. Now after 10 days, it started leaking again, so another service call. This time I won’t cancel whatever happens. The inside of the fridge and freezer side is amazing. Lots of space and LED lighting. It sticks out about 4-5 inches from my counter, but considering how much room I get in return it’s worth it. The ice bucket took a little more than 5 full days (60 hours) to get full, and during that time, fridge makes a lot of noises. Overall, it’s a good fridge, but GE needs to pay more attention to quality control.

This refrigerator is the same size and the one I replaced but it holds so much more and the quality is better. I really like the amount of space each shelf has and the large amount of items that can be held on them. Plus the added feature of being able to see all the items without them being totally lost behind the items in the front of the shelf.

I do love my new fridge! I have plenty of room, so happy with the many drawers and shelves. Great ice maker-it started making ice within a couple of hours. Didn't even expect that! It looks great with my stainless steel range and microwave. In my opinion, it isn't loud when it is running. I really like that there is a temperature control on the outside of the fridge, which can be adjusted if needed, and the temperature inside the fridge and freezer can be checked there as well. I could have given it 5 stars except the door handles are not fingerprint resistant. But I have to also say that I was thoroughly impressed with the delivery guys!

We love this fridge. The lighting and storage space is wonderful. The water/ice delivery to door is so convenient. But most of all... The filter is a BREEZE to change in the upper right hand side of fridge! Price was very fair. Delivery guys did an exceptional job. They were polite, respectful of our home, and very knowledgeable. I just wish it came in our previous color of 17 yrs ago Shiney Black. It never showed any finger prints. This new fingerprint free stainless is better than regular stainless, but not as good as the shiney Black that's not available anymore.

Delivery was on time. Men who installed refrigerator did a great job. Like the color and inside features. I especially like the inside lighting. Everything is visible. Ice and water dispenser works well.

I was eager to get my first side by side fridge but am not thrilled with how easy stainless shows fingerprints. To its credit, this model is fingerprint resistant. Additional pros are that its quiet and spacious. The only con is that I'm fearful the shelves are too thin. Any amount of decent weight on a shelf and it seemed to bow in the middle. We've learned to put the heavier items at the edges where it is better supportive. This is a big negative but can be worked around if you have a family that is conscientious about where to put things.
